Re: Upgrade Vault 6.01 to 8.0.1 on new server
Thank you for your response! I've gone through the upgrade (6.0.1 to 7.2.0 to 8.0.1) on a new web server (Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard). On both upgrades, it indicated that it finished the database upgrades, finished the install, and prompted me to login as admin to apply licenses. If I attempt t...

Upgrade Vault 6.01 to 8.0.1 on new server
Greetings! I'm currently using Vault 6.0.1 and will be upgrading to Vault 8.0.1. From what I can find on the Vault Standard knowledge base, I think I need to run the Vault 7.x install (I have a Vault 7.2.0 installer), followed by the Vault 8.0.1 installer. Is this correct, or are there intermediate ...

Re: VaultSite.Master file does not exist
Right now we're using Version 6.0.1 (598). If you could send a copy of the master file, that would be great! Otherwise I will have to repair/reinstall Vault and hope that fixes the issue.
Thank you!

VaultSite.Master file does not exist
I've just tried to access the Vault Service page for the first time in several months. When I try to load the Vault Service Page on the web server where Vault is installed, I get the following error: -- Server Error in '/VaultService' Application -- Parser Error Message: The file '/VaultService/Vaul...

Changing Vault SQL authentication: sgvaultuser password
My company is instituting a policy where all SQL login passwords need to be changed periodically, including service accounts like sgvaultuser. I've seen entries in various posts indicating that this account is created by the Vault installer. What I haven't seen is how to change the password. I don't...

Vault 4.1.4 to Vault 5.0.4 upgrade advice
I'm currently running Vault 4.1.4, and am upgrading to the newest release, Vault 5.0.4. All servers are 32 bit Windows Server 2003, all desktops are either 32 bit Windows XP or 64 bit Windows 7. I'm putting together a plan for a "trifecta upgrade" What I mean by that is: - I'm upgrading th...

Re: Checkin dialog won't open
That's strange. Is this happening in Visual Studio or in the Vault GUI Client? Or both? This is happening in the Vault GUI client. This particular app is a legacy app developed and maintained in FoxPro 7, which doesn't integrate well with Vault. So all my source control is done through the Vault cl...

Checkin dialog won't open
Greetings! I'm having a problem where the Vault checking dialog won't open in the Vault client. I'm using Vault 4.1.4 (18402), with Windows XP SP3. Current Windows updates have been applied. The Vault repository is stored in a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition server. We have a Windows netw...
