Keep Last Search Criteria - Vault 9.1.0 (Build 584)
Hi, how can Vault 9 standard maintain the search criteria used in the previous tree branch? Last version of Vault I used (5.x) allowed to define the criteria, then i could move from one branch to the next and it would automatically refresh the search results based on the branch I selected. In other ...

Check out to another user feature
hi there, does anybody know if the feature that allows a user to checkout stuff to another user ID exists in Vault? there are a few modules I need to turn over to another person, and we don't want to go through the tedious process of unchecking them, then having the other user to check it out to his...

Vault Standard v 5.XX - History limit by module
Hi all,
is there in Vault, a history limit per module? is there a point where if I check in one more change, the original module, or the first modified version would be lost? if there is, what would that be?
let me know if you need more information.
Thanks!

Re: Visual Studio 2005 cannot connect to Vault 5.04
Tried that. When I try with the Classic client, the bind button doesn't do anything. When I use the enhanced Client, I choose "Open from Vault..." got the same message (503: Service Unavailable). When I choose, change bindings, click Bind... 503: Service Unavailable. The weird thing is tha...

Visual Studio 2005 cannot connect to Vault 5.04
Hi I have a strange issue. My Win 7, Visual Studio 2005 PC was connecting to the Vault server fine until recently when it started issuing a "Unable to connect to http://<serverIP>/VaultService. No server was found at the specified URL. ... HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable. Strangely, my Vau...

Re: Vault 5.0 problem.
When you say the interfaces check out, do you mean project or solution files, or regular code files as well? Have a user perform a Diff on one of the files that checks out automatically when opening. Are there any differences? only the project files are checked out, the code files are not. No diffe...

Vault 5.0 problem.
Hi we just migrated from Vault 3.5 to Vault 5.0. Everything is working fine with the exception of a module that is being checked out every time a user opens a solution. Our application has many interface projects under one solution, and many solutions use the same interface projects. that's because ...
