Re: Receiving Emails When New File Is Added to Working Direc
Hey Beth - I resolved this today by "hard coding" our domain name to the web.config file found at: D:\Vault_wwwroot\VaultService\VaultNotifyService\web.config. I replaced the 127.0.0.1 address with https://source.amareinc.com/

Receiving Emails When New File Is Added to Working Directory
Last week I upgraded Vault from 5.1.2 to 7.2.1. In the previous version, I was able to receive an email notification when a file was added, modified or changed for a folder I was watching ("Watched Paths"). With this new client, I can receive both email notifications and activity in the &q...

Re: Error Enabling "Find in Files" feature
Thanks for your help, Beth. After our phone call this afternoon the message status of "Find in Files" is reading "Ready". I've also confirmed this functionality by using the Vault client and performing the quick test I showed you earlier. This test was successful. For the benefit...

Re: Error Enabling "Find in Files" feature
Hi Beth - . I was making those changes NOT on the server, however when I switched over to access the Admin page via a browser on the Vault Server I was able to change two of the three in question. Re: Error Enabling "Find in Files" feature
Hi Beth - Thanks for your response. When I attempted to change the URL I received a "500" Error. The error was "Error on request PluginConfiguration.aspx/EditPlugin". Is there a particular order to do these in? I did this with the first one which was "VaultIndexService.Vault...

Re: Error Enabling "Find in Files" feature
Thanks Beth - Would I replace this under "Admin" -> "Server Settings" -> "Vault Standard Plugins"? There are five entries, the first three are "True" and the last two are "False". The first entry reads: "http://127.0.0.1:443/VaultIndexService/Va...

Re: Error Enabling "Find in Files" feature
Thanks Beth - I was able to get that page to come up, called the VaultIndexService Web Service. There are three highlighted links: ChangeRepositoryIndexState, GetRepositoryIndexStatus and PluginTriggerEvent.
What can I check from here?
Thanks!

Re: Error Enabling "Find in Files" feature
Thanks Beth. I was able to find the log files under C:\Windows\Temp\sgvault\sgvaul.log (time/date stamp of today). Here's a section of the log file for "Find In Files" from this morning: ----9/11/2014 6:40:33 AM admin--50-193-215-126-static.hfc.comcastbusiness.net(50.193.215.126)--SSL Enab...
