Re: Can the Vault Databases Be Renamed?
Does the answer from SourceGear still apply for Vault Standard version 7.1? It seems to me you can configure access to databases in the web.config file. Our company are concidering dividing our SourceGear databases into 3 or more sets. Like sgMaster1, sgNotify1, sgVault1, sgVaultIndex1 sgMaster2, sg...

Re: Error when Branching
Hi
The issue seems to be solved now. SqlCommandTimeout in vault.config has been set to 3600 (ten times longer than default). Secondly some performance issue at SQL server was resolved.

VaultIndex Service
Hi I see these errors in vaultindexservice.txt. Users can do check-in and out. Would it be adviseable to disable indexing for this repository, purge data and enable indexing. It's OK if it takes all weekend. 07-02-2014 00:26:48 <generic>: GetEntryAssembly() returned null; not logging assembly name 0...

Re: System.Web.HttpException (0x800704CD)
Our automated test sute uses vault.exe - not vaultguiclient.exe.
Where can the log file for vault.exe be found?
vault.exe HELP does not indicate where to found the log file.

Re: System.Web.HttpException (0x800704CD)
The users are automatic test suites downloading tons of files from the Vault Server. Yes, they are complaining - downloads are often not completed. The Vault Server has plenty of RAM (42 GB). Would it make sense to set tree manager size to eg. 512 or even higher? We are seeing a lot of requests from...

Settings in vault.config
Hi
I would like a detailed description of (or a pointer to) the settings in vault.config. Some of the parameters seems to be specific to Source Gear Vault Application. Some are found in the Administration Help / Server Settings / Advanced.
