Server crash - restoring from older backup
We had a server crash, and our latest DB backups are from 2 weeks ago. The local workstations have newer code than what is in vault. We got Vault Standard re-installed, and it seems to be working correctly. However, the client is not detecting the changed files. It is also showing a branch that was ...

Re: Branching error
It does work if I do it directly on the server, but not from the workstation. This is a rather large source tree (243 MB with 30 sub-folders)

Branching error
I get the following error when performing a branch. I have the the SqlCommandTimeout in Vault.config to 7200 as suggested in another post, and the Connection Timeout for the IIS web app is 1800 secondes. Vault 6.1 standard, server 2003 IIS An exception was encountered during the transaction. Excepti...

Get all items by date
It seems like I did this before, but I don't remember how I did it. We have an error that needs to be fixed in some old code. We found a file that has the problem, and need to get all of the files in the project that were current as of that date. Sadly, we did not branch at that time. I thought ther...

Re: Eclipse auto login
I am using Vault Client 6.0.1 (598)
Eclipse plugin 6.0.1.598
And it did it with Vault 5 also. It is just now more of an annoyance when I upgraded Eclipse to Juno (4.2).

Eclipse auto login
Is there a way to have the eclipse plugin for Vault Standard remember and auto log in? Visual Studio does it, but Eclipse (Juno 4.2) does not. And, if I start eclipse, then switch to another task before the login, sometimes the login dialog box gets buried and I can't to anything until after I find ...

Time required to create Find in Files index
How long should this take? We upgraded to Vault 6.0 standard over a week ago, and one of the repositories is still in the middle of building the index.

Re: Eclipse adding android project with library
Those suggestions do not help. A library project is similar to shared links in Visual Studio. There does not appear to be a good work around, unless I create a JAR and move the library reference away. This is can be done, but it creates problems when debugging.

Re: Re-attach source control to Eclipse project
I do have changes. It looks like the only way is to save my changes, re-import, then re-apply the changes. Kind of bogus compared to using Visual Studio integration.

Re-attach source control to Eclipse project
I have accidentally removed the bindings from my eclipse project into Vault. How can I re-bind the project? There does not appear to be a way under Eclipse, like there is in Visual Studio.

Eclipse adding android project with library
I am trying to add an android project to Vault 5.1.1 using eclipse plugin. The project contains a reference to a library project (not a JAR). I get the following error message: Could not create repository folder $/Development/bMobile Now due to Project 'bMobile Now' contains linked URIs but the'com....
