Ok I've tried using a different Vault user on the same computer and it works. What next?

Re: Working Folder State Information incompatible
Thanks for the response, unfortunately those steps didn't help. I got the following error repeatedly during the Get Latest of the sub-tree to a completely new set of working folders. Note that the progress went to 100% and now says "Connected". The working folder state information for C:\U...

Working Folder State Information incompatible
I'm pulling my hair out with Vault for the last few days. I tried to Get Latest on a tree sub-folder and started getting Null Reference exceptions in the Vault GUI Client. Both client and server are 5.1.1.19215 and the client is running on Windows 7 x64 SP1. Working Folder State Information is set t...

Re: Suggestion: Remove completed actions from pending actions
It happens with all pending items that are actioned and committed using the standalone client.

Re: Suggestion: Remove completed actions from pending actions
Automatic refresh of the cache would be great, however the actual feature suggestion is to remove pending actions from the "cache" when they are performed by the user in the standalone client.

Re: Suggestion: Remove completed actions from pending actions
Using the Enhanced VS client. Any type of file, typically .cs source files. Using VSS style checkouts. I've refreshed the standalone client using an F5 key press. Didn't think I'd need to refresh the integrated client as technically the changes were "made pending" by that client.

Suggestion: Remove completed actions from pending actions
If a user is using Vault integrated into Visual Studio and performs actions that result in pending deletions, etc. in the Vault Pending Checkins window. Then the user switches to Vault Client and happens to do one or more of the actions that are pending, the user ends up with a namespace conflict er...

Re: DiffMerge on 20MB file hangs system
The problem existed on Vault 5.0.1 running on Windows 7 x64. Upgrading from 5.0.1 to 5.0.3 now seems to have resolved the issue.
Remember my file was 75KB big, not 20MB like the initial reporter.

Re: DiffMerge on 20MB file hangs system
Thanks for the response Jeff. Visual Studio, Notepad++, SQL Server Management Studio, Notepad and even WordPad don't have a problem with the long line. The reason the line is long is how SQL Server serializes SQLCLR assemblies by default. Its not my idea to have such a long line but its a 70KB hex e...

Re: Bug using automatic proxy and proxy.pac/wpad.dat
The problem is not the browser, its with the Vault Client. It seems to bypass the system proxy settings when a WPAD file is used. No machine in my network is permitted to get out onto the Internet directly - its only through an elective web proxy.

Re: Bug using automatic proxy and proxy.pac/wpad.dat
The problem is with the version check. All other HTTP/HTTPS functions work OK.

Re: DiffMerge on 20MB file hangs system
I've witnessed the same problem. I've got a SQL script that has a line of 74760 characters long, which causes the sgdm.exe process to quickly start allocating over 1.2GB of memory on my 2GB machine running Windows 7 x64 and SourceGear Vault 5.0.1.
This needs to be fixed.

Bug using automatic proxy and proxy.pac/wpad.dat
My developer machines do not have direct access to the web. To access all Internet web sites a proxy server is required. Vault Client 2.x -> 5.0.1 can get to the web when a manual proxy server is configured under Internet Explorer or in the Vault Client itself. However when Internet Explorer is conf...

Bug in Enhanced Client when working with linked files
I've recently discovered an annoying bug in the Visual Studio 2008 Enhanced Client. Thankfully its not something I recommend our developers do, but its still a bug in my opinion. When you have a file in one of your projects under source control and link to it using the Add Link under the Add Existin...
