Unable to Create Folder in any repository
I recently upgraded to 7.1.0(2028) without problem, and have been using VS2012 integration, and Red Gate's SQL Source Control successfully since then on existing projects. But in the last few days I needed to create a new solution folder for a new VS2012 solution, and was unable to do so from within...

Re: Red Gate SQL Source Control issue after upgrade
I did get a swift reply from Red Gate about this so I am posting just in case anyone else has this issue... Red Gate SQL Source Control v3.6 is compatible with Vault 7.1. I obtained the installation file from http://www.red-gate.com/products/sql-development/sql-source-control/frequent-updates After ...

Red Gate SQL Source Control issue after upgrade
After upgrading Vault from 6 to 7.1, the Red Gate SQL Source Control interface with Vault appears to fail with a message about compatibility with the selected version.
Do you have any suggestions, or experience of making 7.1 work with SQL Source Control?
Thanks!

Re: Move Vault standard to a new web server
Actually there is one remaining issue: I cannot seem to find how to point the VS2012 Vault plugin at the new server. The vault client login has a server entry that I simply edited, but the VS2012 vault plugin keeps looking at the old server and I cannot find the place where that server setting is ma...

Re: Move Vault standard to a new web server
Thanks, all done now... The one item that threw me during initial install came back and threw me again until I searched my email from a year ago and found that one needs to open a command window as Administrator and run the vault installer from that window in order to get past the bit where the inst...

Re: Move Vault standard to a new web server
Thanks for the info: we are using Vault 6.1.0(531) the current server and the target server are both running Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 It looks like they are both running IIS 7 If there is a vault version we can upgrade to then it makes sense to upgrade now... could you tell me if there is a versio...

Move Vault standard to a new web server
Apologies if this a well-trodden topic and I just couldn't find the right search terms... I need to move Vault from the existing web server to a different one. The database server (a different machine) will remain the same. I am not yet sure what IIS version will be on the new server. Based upon pos...

Slow checkout with VS2012
We have seen a marked slowdown in the last few days when checking out files from either VS2012 or through the standard client. I need some pointers on how to start to debug this: for example, it may well be that our database instance is at fault, or that the app server that is running the Vault app ...

Re: Unable to Connect or Login: V4.2
Thanks for the suggestions.
Unfortunately, neither of them made any difference, the authentication panel never pops up.
Any other ideas?

Unable to Connect or Login: V4.2
I have been using SOS 4.2 for months with no problems. A few days ago, I was unable to connect to the server from my desktop. What happens is that upon client app start, the connect to server pane pops up with the usual Server and Port selected. I click connect, expecting the Login popup to appear b...
