Feature Request - IIS .NET Trust Levels

It doesn't look like the VaultServer 6.0.1 installer for IIS 7.0 sets the .NET Trust Levels. It appears that each of the folders require Full .NET Trust Levels. If the Default Web Site is set to medium, the Vault site doesn't run. I would request that the application run with the least privileges re...

Re: Installation Failure for Vault 5.1.1 and 5.1.2 on 2008 R

Yes. I choose custom. The IIS 7 Configuration lists the following behind the IIS 7 configuration error message: VaultService application created Creating Applications in IIS for SdDav web services... SgDav application created. VaultShadowFolder application created. Creating VaultAppPool Creating Vir...

Re: Obliterate Difficult to Use

thank you Beth. If it's not a normal maintenance and we're not having difficulties then I'm inclined to not worry about it. I'll inform the rest of the team of your recommendations. Thank you Beth.

Re: Obliterate Difficult to Use

We were using Vault to store documentation and related files to programming projects. We now have a document managment system for those. We figured that after those items were deleted from Vault that it is a good maintenance practice to remove those files from the database. History for these items w...

Re: Obliterate Difficult to Use

Thank you for the response. I did try the obliterate powertool, but it doesn't seem to add much additional functionality over the website admin page.

If obliterate is not recommended, once a file/project has been deleted, what is the preferred method to clean up the database?

I wish there was a way to reference files and folders by ID numbers so we could look up the current locations of the files. Anyway, I've got this one file that...

What is the lowest Vault version that integrates into Visual Studio 2005?

SQL 2000 Access Problems

After installing Vault and IIS on Windows Server 2000 and Windows SQL 2000, we're experiencing connection issues with all of our applications that access the server. Is anyone else having this problem? The problem is intermittant. Works fine for an hour then goes down for a few minutes. Changed NIC,...
