Re: Windows 10
One of our user have received a Windows 10 machine (the rest of us have not shifted to Windows 10). On that machine our largest repository cannot load in the GUI client at all (we have waited several hours). (Running a virtual Windows XP machine on that Windows 10 computer there was no problems, so ...

Re: Undo check-out does not set current file time
Is there any progress on this. It completely ruins our build process, which relies on source files being newer than object files triggers compilation.

Re: Undo check-out does not set current file time
I use version 8.0.1. "Set file time" is set to "Current". In the images you can see how time is "current" on a file I have checked out and edited. The second image shows the state after undo check-out. As you can see the time is set to 01-09.2014 11:07:05, which is far ...

Undo check-out does not set current file time
When undoing a check out the file time on the reverted file is not set to current (even though that is the setting I use).

Diff labels: %LEFT_LABEL% and %RIGHT_LABEL%
I use BeyondCompare (but I guess the problem is the same with other diff programs). The problem is that the labels starts with the insignificant information: Example: Repository Version ($/_Vip6/ProDir/pfc/ppStream/ppStreamSupport/ ppScope_byNeed.pro ). BeyondCompare uses the left label for tab titl...

Re: Suggestion: Command line shell/interactive mode
Well, today we actually have a COM component based on your CLC, so we know what we need to do. Merging changes and recompiling the program is a rather little part of the process. We also have to create an installation program which must be distributed to my colleagues who will have to install it on ...

Re: Suggestion: Command line shell/interactive mode
Thank you.
I know that the CLC code is available, and as I wrote above, I am willing to make the update.
The important thing for me is not to have to remake it each time we upgrade.

Suggestion: Command line shell/interactive mode
It would be very nice if the command line program (vault.exe) supported a "shell"/interactive mode: You start like batch mode (providing host, repository, user and password directly on the command line), but Each command will have its own output (flushed after that command) An error will n...

Re: Edit on Exclusive locked file removes write protection.
Hi, Jeff. In a version control system in "Check Out/Edit/Check In" mode, why should the command "Edit" mean "Edit no matter what"? I believe it is quite natural to assume that it refers to the "Edit" in "Check Out/ Edit /Check In". From the question ...

Re: Client API 7.0 missing entities
Thank you. I guessed part of this myself. Furthermore, the reason that I mention version 4 of the framework was because I got some warnings that some of the mentioned DLL's was target at version 4. However, it turned out that some of the references are not really need and when removed the warnings d...

Re: Client API 7.0 missing entities
I also think the target .net framework should be version 4 (rather than 2).

Client API 7.0 missing entities
As a spike test to upgrading to version 7, I have tested the Client API, which we use. And found that none of the two included projects VaultClientIntegrationLibCode and CommandLineClientCode can be compiled. Both have references to a number of non-included entities. VaultClientIntegrationLibCode .....
