Is this something the installer can check for? Or maybe a better user end message rather than me having to look through the log file?

Nope, the access on temp wasn't it. I sent the log and even turned on debug logging.

Looks like this is the problem:

"XML stored procedures are not supported in fibers mode."

Which of course I have no idea what it means or how to fix it.

Spoke too soon. Admin works fine, I created a user and a couple repositories. User has all access to all repositories. I log into the client just fine. Perfect, it worked. Note however that I did run the install as administrator, had full rights to everything, and no error message was received during the install. Pretty easy fix though and everything is working correctly.

Well, now the threat is that we should be using the corporate standard of PVCS. Goodness. I thought there was no where but up from VSS.

We have about 3 gigs of VSS data on 6.5 gigs of disk space (or at least that's what Explorer tells me). We need to get permission to use a SQL server in our data center (so the backups are automatic) and I was wondering how much space we need. I talked with my boss about moving from VSS to Vault. He questioned the size of the SQL database. Does anyone have a comparison between VSS size and Vault size once the VSS is imported? Some rough percentage of VSS size would be helpful.

Everything's inside the firewall, but the database is on a Novell drive, so maybe that's the issue.
