Re: "Version" field not showing data in Client.
I was able to reproduce this. It appears you can't enter and save a value in that field in the Vault GUI Client.
I've logged work item 17595 to fix this.

Re: Get Latest Error
Files can be added from anywhere on disk. So a user can add from C:\Folder, but another user might try to retrieve to a working folder at C:\myfolder\subfolderfolderfolderfolder\subsubsubsubfolderfolderfolder\etc. Plus the cache\baseline file is not created until a user does a Get to the working fol...

Re: Get Latest Error
Adding files to Vault puts them in the database. Getting the files from the Vault Client puts them on disk, which involves a working folder path, cache folder path, etc. We can't anticipate what the disk path lengths will be when you add files to Vault. You could try storing the cache in the working...

Did you select the Vault source control plugin?
This setting is in Visual Studio under Tools->Options->Source Control->Plugin Selection.

Re: Get Latest Error
We haven't made any changes to this, and most likely won't in the future. It would basically mean a re-write of Vault.
Try keeping your paths under the limit.

Re: Auto Checkout Issue
Vault SHOULD checkout these files in Visual Studio if they've been modified, but if the connection has been interrupted overnight, then that might not work. I have some suggestions, but they all involve reconnecting to the Vault Server. 1) Close Visual Studio when you'd done for the day. Opening VS ...

Re: LISTFOLDER XML output now longer has status attribute
I sent a response to your email to us. We haven't changed LISTFOLDER. I was able to run the command and get the file status. However if there isn't a working folder or if the status is "Blank" (up to date), no status is listed. Does your folder have a working directory or a non-blank statu...

Re: Auto Checkout Issue
It's possible that Vault Client is losing contact with the server overnight and not causing a checkout when the file changes. You try setting a short automatic refresh time and see if that helps with a quicker refresh. This setting is in the Visual Studio under Tools->Options->Source Control->VaultP...

Re: Auto Checkout Issue
Look in Visual Studio under Tools->options->Source Control->Source Control Plugin.
Let me know which plug is configured there. Don't change it, though, it can cause a problem with the integration unless you take certain steps.
Each plugin has different options on how they treat files.
