In this case the user had Tools > Options > Check In / Branch > Auto-commit after each operation checked.
Any idea why she would have seen this behaviour with that checked?

Inconsistent Move
We had an unusual situation recently that I would like to investigate. A QA user moved a subfolder from the development folder - to which she has R permissions - to the QA Work in Progress folder, for which she has RCA permissions. For her, the package was gone from the source folder and appeared in...

Authentication
Hi; A couple of questions regarding authentication; 1. Does Vault support or intend to support true Kerberos or NTLM single-signon, using a user's existing logon credentials, rather than forcing them to re-enter their Windows userid and password? The URL http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?f...

Using AD authentication and SG authentication concurrently
Hi;
We use AD authentication, but some of our groups would like to have a shared account.
Are there any issues with creating group accounts that have SG authentication while most of are users are on AD authentication?

I've sent the info off by email, or you could just reset the password and email it to me later.
Thanks,

Re: View Your Posts link does not work
Sorry for the delay, I was out of the office at the end of the week. None of this works. In each case I get a response of "No suitable matches were found." In User Control Panel > Front Page > Your Activity I see "Total posts:16 | Show your posts", so the system sees my post coun...

Proxy and Chunked Encoding keys
Good Afternoon;
Can you tell me where the values are stored in the database for the user options (under Network Settings) "Use chunked encoding..." and "Proxy"?
I've looked through sgvault.dbo.tblclientoptions but cannot find these.
Thanks,
Rob

View Your Posts link does not work
When I click the View your posts link, or Show your posts in my profile, I get No suitable matches were found as a response.
Am I doing something wrong? It's very difficult to track my posts and the responses without this.

Group Management
Is there a way for me to make all members of "GroupA" and "GroupB" also be members of the group "Developers"?
I want most of my users to be in Developers, but I also want to identify them by group.

Re: Storage Limits
Thanks, that's helpful. Does the 1Gb limit in the web admin client override the 2Gb limit in SQL Server, or can I increast the limit in the web admin client to 2Gb? Also, should I have my users set the chunked encoding option on in their Tools>Options since we're likely to use fairly large files on ...

Re: Upload Fail
I tried that, and it didn't work for me. It appeared to have worked for someone else though, so I think there is something else at play given the inconsistent results. Do you have any ideas?

Upload Fail
I'm getting an error uploading a file set to Vault. It seems to proceed well then I get the following. The reference to (404) Not Found suggests an IIS issue, but I'm not sure where to look. The path is 5 folders deep. Can you give me an idea what's happening here? FOLLOWUP: I tried creating the top...

Re: Password change with AD
Good to know, though I don't think we'd ever move away from AD. I'd much rather let AD worry about that. I have noticed that vault doesn't seem to check that there is a valid ad account when setting up a user. Is there a way to change that?

Re: Password change with AD
Thanks, Beth. I tried simply ignoring the warning and clicking save again to force the change, and so far it seems to work fine. Just a little confusing to see the warning.
