Re: Vault Eclipse Plugin Mac OS X PropertyTester
FYI.
I never got around to test what a "previous user posted". I just happened to not use eclipse anymore. And therefore never considered my instance of the problem again.

Re: Performance problem when checking out 3000 files
I would love to work in CVS mode in this place, but I have several other places where it is absolutely not a good idea. And unfortunately working in CVS mode is global, even across repositories.

Re: Performance problem when checking out 3000 files
Thank you. I guess we will update to 5.1.1 shortly, and then I will test again. You are right that I only intend to change a few files, but I want avoid locating each of the files individually. I do however often use another strategy: make all the files writable, update and then check-out renegade f...

Performance problem when checking out 3000 files
We have a test directory with ~3000 files. If I check-out them all, the client never finishes. Killing the client (yesterday I let it wait for more than 2 hour) and starting a new one does not help the new client have exactly the same problem (it works "forever"). The only solution was to ...

Keyword expansion causes merge conflict
Our source files uses keyword expansion in a string literal: constants classVersion = "$JustDate: 2010-01-27 $$Revision: 25 $". Very often when doing a get latest with "Attempt automatic merge" some of the files that get "Needs merge" status only have a conflict in that...

Re: Edit undone for rename, directory rename and edit
No, it does not seem that I can reproduce the problem.
But I have discovered that the command line utility cannot check-out the file that has been renamed it says something like:
Error: No object was found at the repository path: $/...
