Almost all our usage of the Merge Branches tool only requires merging of the Add, Delete and Edit operations. But, we need to wait for the other dialogs to perform their checks and then click next. The waiting can be quite appreciable on our 12,000 file product (does not include branched files - total files is 50,000+). Currently its 'wait a while and click next', wait a while again and click next, wait a while again and peruse the list (which actually doesn't seem particularly useful most of the time), then finally click next. Now the changes can be diffed, etc.
So, when there are no moves, shares or renames, would it be possible to skip the need to click next and just move onto the next dialog?
Even better, when there are no moves, shares or renames, maybe there could be an option to not require any further user input beyond choosing the changesets? Thus the next step would be to review the Pending Change Set to resolve conflicts and check the merge.
Now the real reason for this is that if the final option was implemented I'd have time to have a cup of coffee whilst Vault works away
