Vault Cannot Get Latest Overwrite and Upload New File

Post by tmario » Fri Mar 27, 2015 12:34 am

Hi everybody, i have some problem on my new installed laptop.
OS : Windows 8
Vault version 6.1.0.531
Server Vault version 6.1.0.531

When i set new laptop, i installed vault like i did in my old laptop.
But i cannot Get latest overwrite here and upload new file.
The newly upload file is uploaded sucessfully in vault but cannot update into my local files. Same with the get latest. I cannot update my local files.

The error msg :

Local file update for $/we/trunk/html/web/udf.cfc failed: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'W:\we\trunk\html\web\udf.cfc' is denied.
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite, Boolean checkHost)
at VaultClientOperationsLib.WorkingFolder.UpdateWorkingFile(VaultClientFile file, Int64 targetObjVerID, Int64 displayVersion, MergeType merge, DateTime dt, Boolean makeBackups, OverwritePrompt PromptData)
at VaultClientOperationsLib.WorkingFolder.UpdateWorkingFile(VaultClientFile file, Int64 targetObjVerID, Int64 displayVersion, MergeType merge, DateTime dt, OverwritePrompt PromptData)
at VaultClientOperationsLib.ClientInstance.ProcessGetFileRequests(GetFileInfo[] infos, MakeWritableType makeWritable, SetFileTimeType setFileTime, MergeType merge, Boolean updateHiddenFilesOnly, String ancestorFullPath, Boolean flat, String

Do anyone knows what is the problem here? Now i am using administrator user on my windows 8.
I can access to my trunk as well. The permission is full control like before.

In my old laptop is still normally working.

Thanks befoe

Is the W drive a mapped drive? Is it a Samba share?

When you check out a file, does the read-only flag successfully change?
