Admin user unable to view repository contents after v2 ->

Post by aconnell » Tue May 24, 2005 1:13 pm

I backed up my v2.0.6 and the installed the server v3.0.7 on my server and let it update my database. I then instaled the admin tool on my server, and admin tool as well as the client on one of my desktops. The admin user can login to the admin tool with no problems.

The admin user can also login to the client and pick a repository from a list, but I then recieve an error that the user does not have rights to any folders/files in the repository. I also tried logging in as a non-admin user "vaultuser" and had the same issues.

Any ideas or where to go from here?

Somehow the web.config in the web service was pointing to a non existant vault.config file. Not sure how that happened. Anyway, pointing it to the correct one fixed it.
