Re: Feature Request: Add to Vault with structure (branches/t
From VS 2010. When I create a new project and add it to Vault, I'd like the branch/trunk structure to be folder structure created for me for the new project.

Feature Request: Add to Vault with structure (branches/trunk
Hello, Presently when a new project is added to Vault it's added as the folder name. It makes it hard to setup a structure of Branches and Trunk. I'd like to see an option where adding a project to Vault it adds the structure such as: $ Project Name --Branches --Trunk ----Project added here Thank you.

Re: Is Vault dead?
Linda,
As I replied to your suggestion of using BLAME before, unless I'm doing something wrong, it does not show you the complete file.

Re: Is Vault dead?
I think from the consumer confidence standpoint and when having to pay annual maintenance, we want to know we are getting something for our money. I've made my suggestions known already but the main one I really want is to be able to view my files fully online (web based) with line numbers like GIT ...

Is Vault dead?
Why so little development activity? So few updates? Where is v6? Is it worth paying maintenance for anymore? I get the feeling Vault is not the focus of this company any more??

Re: Macintosh client?
Thanks for adding our "votes." Can you please provide information as to whether this is something SG will ever provide us or will our votes just go into the vacuum of space? Rather than keeping us waiting and wondering, please provide your position on this request and if we need to find an...

Suggestion: Prevent check-in if VS.NET has Errors
Hello, No one wants a developer to check-in code that won't compile. I was thinking...for your VS.NET integration is there a way you can determine if VS.NET has Errors listed in the Error window (not warnings or comments)? If so you could flag a message "Are you sure you want to check-in with e...

Feature Request: View Source Online
Hello, I want to view my source online while away from my dev machine. I don't see a way now in 5.0.3 via the VaultSource/Admin portal to plainly and cleanly view the source of a file. I can click Blame or do a Diff, but what I really want is to just view the entire file. Even better is to have the ...

Re: Enhanced client for VS 2010?
Thank you Linda. Uninstall/Reinstall worked. Repair didn't work because I guess you're not caching the install files on Win7? Personal opinion, don't make customers come to you for this info, e-mail your customers on how to get Vault/Fortress to work in VS 2010. Take the info to them. My $.02 Regard...

Enhanced client for VS 2010?
Hello, I installed VS 2010 RTM and it looks like only the classic (MSSCI) client exists. I've grown accustomed to the features and capabilities of the enhanced client, do you envision an enhanced client for VS 2010 and if so, when should subscription holders expect the update? I also would have expe...

Re: Macintosh client?
I'm using MonoDevelop and MonoTouch for iPhone development and would love to use Vault and to keep two machines in sync for dev (iMAC and MacBook Pro). If you could provide a system that works within Mono so I can use a GUI of some type to check-in/check-out/get latest, etc. this would be huge for m...

Pending Change Set - Takes Longer to Check-In
Using v5 and I have my solution (VS 2008) set to check everything in when closing. It seems like it takes longer with pending change set process now, maybe because of the treeview? I prefer faster so if I could lose or disable the treeview, if this was an option, and it made things faster, that woul...
