Files in solution folder not picked up for Pending changes

I'm using Vault and enhanced integration with Visual Studio 2008. I've recently discovered solution folders as a way of organising files that don't belong to particular projects, but do belong to the solution as a whole - MSBuild scripts for the build server being one example. To see what I mean, rr...

Great minds think alike! :)
Do feel free to include this in your plugin - it will save me having to maintain it!

Re: CC.NET and LastChangeLabeller

I've just implemented a CCNet Labeller plugin to do this. You can find out about it at http://blog.functionalfun.net/2008/09/h ... uilds.html.

Labelling Builds with Vault folder version number in CC.Net

For anybody using CCNet who'd like to label Builds with the Vault Folder version number, I've just implemented a plugin for CCNet to do so. You can find out about it at http://blog.functionalfun.net/2008/09/h ... uilds.html

I'm having the same problem. I tried setting useWorkingDirectory to false, but that hasn't made a difference. As an aside, does this new Plugin support the LastChangeLabeller, as requested in this post http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=7444&highlight=lastchangelabeller ? Hope you can...

Just to say that I would like to do the same thing: incorporating the Vault folder revision number as the Build number of my product.

Any idea when this could be accomplished

I've had a similar problem with 3.1.5. I pinned two files through the history window to a version earlier than the most recent. After that they just sit in my Pending Changes window, not even dissapearing when I commit a transaction. I tried deleting the KnownChanges cache. I haven't tried deleting ...

I haven't tried it, but you could have a look at http://www.softinterface.com/MD/MD.htm.

According to one of their pages, an ActiveX interface is available.

Strange Merge Bug involving numbers

Attached is a screenshot showing what happened when I attempted to merge to AssemblyInfo.cs files containing different version numbers. Rather than picking the numbers from one side or another, Vault seems to have made up its own. I have seen this happen on other occasions where numbers are involved...

Sorry about the delay.

There are no differences in any of the things that you mention. The Operation I am doing is exactly the same.

The only difference that I could think of is that I have .Net 2 beta installed. But I have just asked a colleague who also has .Net 2 installed to try the same operation, and it works on his machine.

I can't think of any other differences: what kind of things should I look for?

Show History by Version still not working in Vault 3.1

Hi, I have just updated our Vault installation to Vault 3.1.0.3494. The problem I was having with "Show History by Version" ( http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=4211 ) still occurs. I still have to minimise the history window in order to see any of the history. I thought this pr...

The History Window doesn't fill if I just leave it.

Limit History is set to 1000 rows.

Fetch Rows in Chunks is set to 200 rows.

Just discovered something else interesting:

If I move the scroll bar to the section of history that I want to view, and then Minimize and Maximize the History Window, that section magically appears.

I can actually retrieve the entire history in this way.

This discovery makes the case less urgent.

This gets more curious: while I was preparing the screenshot I tried adjusting the size of the Window. I Hit the Maximize button, and the Window minimized itself (!). Then, when I maximized the window again, part of the history was shown. However, scrolling down the window still doesn't show the res...
