sgnotify database, eventdetails table is very large

The eventdetails table has over 40 million records. This is somehow causing autogrow issues at daily backup/maintenance time. Is this a table that can be archived or cleared somehow?

Obliterate issues

I currently have a folder ($/Archives) of some very old items which I would like to delete and obliterate before we move Vault to a new server. It represents 4 GB of files which are not required. I have painfully deleted and obliterated folder by folder (some serious tool to do this would be greatly...

Scrum Silverlight Dashboard and Work Item editor

At ClicData, one of our lead developers has built a great utility (see attached screenshot VaultClicClient.png ) to tap into our Vault installation and monitor work items, assign items quickly to developers, monitor weekly workload and overall release and sprint load. It works amazingly fast using S...

Re: Milestones still visible for selection

Any idea when this can be fixed?

We have now tickets in a variety of milestones as the Vault GUI client allows (sometimes) to save them under inactive milestones and if it doesn't we lose time as we think it saves them but it doesnt.

Thanks,
T.

Hi Beth,

We are aware how to recover overwritten files. Thanks.

We are using the enhanced client.

Loss of changes when using VS2010 Enhanced Client

Currently running Visual Studio 2010 Professional, Vault Professional 5.1.1.19216. If using VS2010 in debug mode, VS stops user from making changes to the project. Vault however allows things such as Undo Checkout, Get latest, etc to be performed. When doing those, the file(s) look like they are che...

Re: Milestones still visible for selection

Although initially I thought that the GUI Vault Client was unable to save work items under a milestone that was not active I am mistaken. It can and as such this just became a huge issue to me as my queries and work item reports are set for current milestones (ones which are active). Now my folks ca...

Re: Undo check out permissions

Sounds good. I will give it a try to see if the user still has the ability to undo check out for other people and will let you know if it meets the objective.

Re: My kingdom for a delete button

I am not sure, however I still would love to have a delete button as opposed to putting items in disregard status all the time.

Undo check out permissions

I need to allow one user to undo check outs for other users. Currently the only that can do this is those users that are in the fixed User Group "Admin". However putting the user in this group will give him unrestricted access to all repositories (in addition to security and other settings...

Re: Milestones still visible for selection

Not sure if my previous reply went through so I am doing it again. I am using the web client, administration pages to make some milestones inactive and add new milestones. I am using the GUI client to edit or add new work items. In both cases (new work item or editing an existing one) the milestone ...

Re: Milestones still visible for selection

I added new milestones and modified existing ones (set them to inactive) using the administration pages of the web client.

When adding or modifying a work item using the GUI client all milestones (new ones and inactive ones) are visible in the drop down list.

Milestones still visible for selection

I have made several milestones inactive but they are still visible in the vault client as options.
Additionally the date for this milestones are in the past as well.

How can I hide these milestones from the work item form drop down?
