We've experienced this same Intellisense crash in Visual Studio 2008 Professional on three different PCs here, when getting-latest from the IDE and when opening a sln from the IDE. We're using 4.1.0 (16216). Is there something I can post log-wise that might help track it down? Or should I bring us u...

I just tried upgrading to 3.1.2 and got the same error. We also use binary collation on our server, with a database name of 'sgvault' (lower case).

Anything I can do to resolve this?

Cheers!

Hey! I think I have it! I looked at this kb entry: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=1528&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=impersonate+web+config ... and discovered that my 'VaultService' user did not have rights to the 'Temporary Internet Files' folder. Switching off custom er...

Ok, this is weird. I can log in fine using my Active Directory password, but no-one else can. At the moment I'm unchecking the 'Active Directory' checkbox against other users and giving them passwords, but this is not ideal. So I'd like to resolve this one. It definitely has to do with the fact that...

Email sent. Did you get it? I ticked the 'send me a copy as well' checkbox but didn't get it. Weird.

A bit more info: This morning I gave NETWORK SERVICE full-control of the VaultService folder under wwwroot, and I am now able to apply updates to the Server Options in the admin client. So the service mustn't have been impersonating. I then tried adding this line to web.config: <identity impersonate...

Access to vault.config denied

Hi all, After some initial hiccups with public keys, I have a fresh install of Vault server up and running. I can connect to the server with the admin client. However, when I try to change anything on the Server Options tab I get an error when I hit Apply: Access to the path "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Vaul...

Think I've got it!

There was a file in that MachineKeys folder with a timestamp right on when I first installed, except it was only 50 bytes compared with the other files which were around 2kB!!!

So I deleted that file and reinstalled, and now the admin client can connect!

Me again (registered now :)).

Would it matter that I'm installing via Remote Desktop (ie Terminal Services)?

And does it matter who I'm logged in as when I install? I'm logging in as my domain user, and I'm a Domain Admin.
