It's been a while since I posted this bug. Has it been fixed? I couldn't find a reference to this bug in the release notes of the last couple of Vault releases. Not that it matter for us though, because we decided to switch to Subversion instead of Vault. But I'm just curious and if this (important)...

Check out empty folder doesn't work?
Hi, One of my projects that I've put into Vault contains an empty subfolder. When I check out the entire project recursively Vault doesn't create the empty folder on my hard disc. Is this by design? Or is it a bug? Note that I fill the empty folder after check out with files that I don't want to put...

Yeah, I know those programs, but I'd rather have it integrated into Vault itself.CraigNicholson wrote:I have got it working using the freeware utility Trayconizer (http://www.whitsoftdev.com/trayconizer/).

Feature request: Minimize to tray icon
Hi, I have a feature request. I prefer using the Vault client instead of using IDE integration. I keep the client running all day, but most of the time it just sits minimized on the taskbar. I would be very happy if SourceGear would include an option to minimize the client to the system tray, so it ...

In my books this is a **MAJOR** bug. If we can't rely on Vault to correctly add ALL files then we're stuffed with source control. I agree. I didn't emphasize on it in my previous posts, but I discovered the bug because one of my projects turned out to be incomplete. Luckely for me I am still only e...

I've noticed that window sometimes goes away and sometimes stays up, and have never been able to figure out a pattern to it. It is a window that Visual Studio puts up, not Vault, so the mystery will have to be solved by someone on worked on VB6 many years ago :) I guess I'll just have to live with ...

VB6: "Source Code Control Results" window remains
Hi, Today I had to work on some old Visual Basic 6 code and I noticed the Vault (V3.0.0 2752) client integrated nicely with the VS6 IDE (normally I use VS2003 without Vault integration; I prefer using the Vault client itself). However I noticed that when checking in some files sometimes the "So...

Add Files/Folders adds selected files and folders to the place where you invoked it from, regardless of where on your local hard disk you get the files from. So, the behavior you are getting is correct - if you selected $/Projects, Index.html is not available to add from anywhere, because it would ...

Did you click on the right project ($/Project/Docs) before using the Add Files function? Add Files only adds them to the selected project. No, I didn't do it that way, because at that particular moment the Docs subfolder didn't yet exist in Vault. Normally I only create the project's root folder ma...

The benefit of reporting bugs to a public forum is that the information is immediately available to any user. Sometimes users have come up with solutions to problems that have stumped us. OK, I understand that. But most bug tracking systems that I have experience with allow for reported bugs to be ...

Dragnet is a web service. You can see the web methods documentation if you use this URL in your browser: http://<yourDragnetserver/dragnetwebservice.asmx Oh, I didn't know that  I'll check it out. One more question: I assume SourceGear uses Dragnet themselves to track bugs in Vault and Dragne...

No anonymous bug-report posting?
Hi, Today I installed Dragnet and had a quick look around. Although I didn't yet have the time to look at it thoroughly, I did notice one thing immediately. It looks like it is not possible for arbitrary users of our software to report a bug (anonymously). Is this true? What I want is for (anonymous...
