In the email notification plugin section in the Vault Admin Client, try changing the following:

1) Change http → https.

If this doesn't resolve the issue:

2) Try the hostname instead of 127.0.0.1.

Vault supports checking in files with names that begin with a "." so there may be something else going on. Do you want the .log files checked in? I believe those are files within Eclipse that don't necessarily belong in source control. If you'd like for us to troubleshoot this a bit more ...

To disable email notifications you will need to invoke the Vault Admin Tool. Under the Admin tab, select Vault Plugins. Within this dialog you should see some server URL's and you will want to look for the ones that specify VaultNotifyService, select Modify and disable this option.

1) The Vault Server cannot write to or read from its temporary file location.
2) The server disk is full or nearly full.
