The issue existed before Vault 11 but were not really sure the exact release it become a problem. There is no way of automatically keeping track of the issue other than reaching out to us. If the fix gets included in a release, it will also be listed in the release notes. As of right now ...

Vault 11 currently does not support VS 2026 Insiders edition. We are aware of the 2026 release and will provide support for it in an upcoming release.

This is likely an IIS related issue. When you setup / configured the IIS server for the Vault Server, did you add the "Application Server" feature as well as the HTTP static content to the role?

You will need to either try to perform the install with the "sa" account or increase the rights of the user for the Windows Authentication so that they have full admin rights.
You could also try running the installer as admin from a command prompt.

Were you connecting to the SQL Server using Windows authentication or SQL authentication?
Did the account you used to connect to the SQL Server have SQL sysadmin rights? The rights need to be at the same level as 'sa'.
