Re: Migrating Fortress(Dragnet) data to Axosoft OnTime
Is there any news on this? We'd be interested in considering a switch, but would be unwilling to re-enter all our open items to a new system.

Migrating Fortress(Dragnet) data to Axosoft OnTime
We're using the Sourcegear item tracking which was originally Dragnet and is now part of the Vault Professional product. Should we look at this Axosoft OnTime? If it's really much better, then we would happily switch, but only if there's a reasonable way to import all of our data from the Fortress D...

Re: Fortress 2.0 web browser interface stylesheet
OK. I just wondered if anyone else had already done some hacking with the CSS and had a stylesheet they could share. If you are redesigning the style, could I request/suggest that you offer some choice? I'd be particularly glad to see one with a name like 'soothing' or 'simple'. Would it also be pos...

Fortress 2.0 web browser interface stylesheet
We recently upgraded from Fortress 1.x to 2.0.3. We use the web browser interface for bug/item tracking and we have a few web-only users. I don't know if that makes us unusual. The functional improvements are impressive and will save a lot of time clicking and waiting for server round-trips, but I t...

Re: Server 500 error viewing pending status items
OK, thanks for clarifying. The second status cannot be deleted (presumably because it was the original, necessary, "Completed" status), but not can I change it status type. It's apparently locked at "Pending". Is this what you'd expect? If it's descended somehow from the original...

Re: Server 500 error viewing pending status items
OK, we will send the logs when we can. The server is maintained for us off-site by another firm, so we can't directly access the logs.
Meanwhile, can you explain why only first of the statuses (other than Open) appears as a tab?

Server 500 error viewing pending status items
The introduction of a 'pending' status type was great. We've adjusted the set of statuses on our Fortress server to match our workflow, so that items move from open through various pending states before being closed. Can't apparently post images here, so I'll do it in text: Value Status Type Open Op...

Re: Regional settings
Apparently, this setting is overridden with each update of the Fortress server, so we need to remember to restore it manually every time. Could your installation retain the setting? Or (better) could this setting be accessible through the web admin interface? ... and it would be *really fantastic* j...

Re: Feature request: copy path to clipboard
<SNIP> For a folder path, right click on the folder path just about the file list, i.e., "Contents of $/FolderA/SubfolderA/subfolder." You'll get a context menu with "Copy." To copy a file path, right click on a file and select "Properties." Right click on the file pat...

Feature request: copy path to clipboard
Sometimes, I'm emailing someone, or making a note in the bug-tracking web and I want to tell them that I've added a file to the source code repository. So far, I haven't found anywhere in the Fortress client GUI that lets me select and copy the folder path to the system clipboard. It's displayed in ...

Feature request: simple messaging
Often someone else has got a file checked out which I need. They might be working somewhere else. I can email them to ask that they check it in, but maybe it's not urgent and I don't want to hassle them if they are working on something else. Or maybe it's really urgent and I need to know that they k...

Re: "Batch Edit" not available in 'All Projects' view.
Can I add my vote in support of this feature please? I got frustrated when we recently needed to move a load of items from one (old) project to a newly-created one.

So no fix in Dragnet, then?
Hi, I found and checked the downloads for Dragnet. The version hasn't increased since our last update, I think. Just now all we want is a quick fix for this one problem in Dragnet so that we can continue using it without hassle. If I can avoid trying to work out what Fortress is, or what an ALM is, ...
