Re: Commit new Folder/Project hangs.

Beth, I managed to determine the problem. Maybe you can explain why it happened. One of the files in the project was called ApplicationEvents.vb. It was an empty file, size 0k. I had decided to try checking each file in, one at a time, and it hung on that one. Once I determined that it was empty, I ...

Re: Commit new Folder/Project hangs.

Beth,

Here is the text file and the logs I have for this year. Hope this helps.

BTW, I tried it again this morning after removing all references to SSC (The Vault) from the solution and project info files.

Thanks.

Commit new Folder/Project hangs.

I am unable to commit a project to The Vault. All other projects commit, etc. just fine. I've tried it from the IDE (VS 2005). I was able to add the project there. It's relatively small. Each file that I need added had the '+' next to it. But when I 'Check-in' the vault just hangs. I have to use the...

Re: Unable to connect

I tried to go the web admin page for Vault, and got an error there too. It was unable to load the following module: L:\ceedo\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_filter.dll L: is an external drive I keep for personal use. I've installed .Net framework 2.0 on it unser Ceedo, but did not ...

Unable to connect

I am using The Vault 5.0, single user. The SQL server and the IIS server both reside on my workstation. I also use OnTime. The Vault is installed on the IIS 4 server. There is a IIS6 server, but only an FTP site is there. Everything had been working fine, but this morning,I could not connect to the ...

Re: An item with the same name or object id already exists..

That seemed to do it. I found the pending rename change (clsProductMaster --> clsProductInfo) you mentioned, but it failed when I tried to commit it. Then I did found a pending delete action for clsProductInfo (I did try to delete and re-add the file to the project and Vault) which I had to commit f...

An item with the same name or object id already exists..

I have a file in my project. It's original name was clsProductMaster.vb, but I changed it to clsProductInfo.vb. Now when I try to check it in I get the following message: $/PurchasingLibrary/PurchasingLibrary/clsProductMaster.vb caused the transaction to fail: An item with the same name or object id...

Fortress Server

I've just installed the Fortress server and client on my desktop. I plan on running in the free single user mode, since I'll be the only one using it. Now when I try to log in to the client it is asking for the Fortress Server, but I have no idea where the server is or what it's name may be. How abo...
