Re: VS2015 Support
My team has been having a similar problem with VS2015, Vault 8.0.1.30299 and checking out files. We have Auto-Checkout enabled so if you begin editing a file is VS2015, the Vault plugin will check it out. Our issue usually is the files Vault Status is not in sync with VS2015 (in the file's tab in VS...

Re: Where did "Get Latest" on project open go?
That did it. I uninstalled Vault Pro and reinstalled after running the devenv /setup. I guess when I uninstalled Vault Standard, that screwed up the setting.
Thanks again.

Re: Where did "Get Latest" on project open go?
I am running this on Windows 7 SP1 x64. You comments on reinstallation reminded me that I installed the Professional Version of Vault while the Standard Version was still installed (thinking it would upgrade). Realizing that you could have both, I uninstalled Vault Standard. That may have caused the...

Where did "Get Latest" on project open go?
I remeber from Vault Standard 5.0 series, that there was an option in the Source Control Options (Tools-> Options is VS) to automatically Get Latest files. This appears to have been removed from Vault Professional. Has the automatic Get Latest been removed or has been rolled into another function. R...

Install error 2753 for new install
I am trying to install Fortress 2.0.4 on our Development server. The Development Server already contains Vault v5. Our Dev server is Windows 2008 64bit running IIS7 and SQL Server 2008 64bit. As said, Vault is already installed on this server as well. I have also tried installing Fortress 1.1.4 as p...

Re: Share a Folder, then branch a file
Actually it is not only the app.config file but also the contents of the Properties Folder for a C# WinForms app. If the files are secondarily shared through file pointers from the folder, then it should not be a stretch to have file pointers to brach copies of files. As for different folders for sp...

Share a Folder, then branch a file
All Vault 5.03 I have a trunk folder with the base source code for a project. I then have a series of "Release" folders that contain "shares" of the trunk folder. I am trying to Branch a couple of files that contain individual configs for each release. However, the Branch operati...
