Hi Tonya,
It's been a couple of years since this post. Can you tell us if multi-factor authentication is available, or will be available soon?
thanks

Re: Auto Search change from v6 to v10
Yes this is about the removal of the auto search from v10 as you navigate from tree node to tree node. We're asking that it could be restored so that you don't have to manually Shift+F3 As for the "don't search" option. I just wanted clarification about auto search checkbox. You've complet...

Re: Auto Search change from v6 to v10
Hi Jeff I just wanted to bring this up again because the change to search has really put the cat among the pigeons for us. Can you ask your product and engineering to review this decision once again. Your customers who pay license fees, etc deserve to have their opinions heard and considered. We wer...

Re: Auto Search change from v6 to v10
Hi Joe Our team just upgraded from V6 to V10 and so far this is the only pain point. When do you plan to restore the auto search feature? We understand the logic behind your decision, but a better option would have been to leave the option to the developer if they wanted to take the performance hit....

Vault index service authentication error
Vault 6 Standard Hi I'm receiving the same error as described from this thread https://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=22890&p=78488&hilit=Vaultindexservice#p78488 I've tried copying the encrypted password from shadow config to index config but that didn't work for me either. ...

Clarification on Migration Process
I've done a little digging into how to migrate Vault from one SQL Server to another. Moving the Vault, VaultPro or Fortress Databases https://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=924 Move Vault to new SQL Server and Upgrade https://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=22428 Upgrading Gui...

Re: Vault 6 Admin (via SOAP)
Thanks for answering my post! So a follow up question to that which addresses the actual problem. Is there a way to configure an admin user to have access to only certain users/repositories? For example. Having set up groups, to which users belong and have access to detain repositories, I can give o...

Vault 6 Admin (via SOAP)
Hi I'd like to give one of our clients access to the admin functions to enable/disable users tied to their admin group. I don't want to give them Admin rights to login to our system. Rather I'd like to send them a utility app that connects to vault (with admin credentials behind the scenes), lists t...

What are the files in the %APPDATA%\Roaming folder
On my server there's 80,000 files totalling 11 GB of files in the users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\SourceGear folders
Nearly all the files are in users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\SourceGear\Vault_1\Client folder
What do these files do and can they be deleted to recover the space?

Re: Find in Files Error
Linda. I have the same problem. There is no vaultindexservice.txt file under c:\windows\temp\sgvault. In the that folder there is the sgvault.log file. There's an error message which likely points to the problem. An error occurred updating the Find in Files on http://127.0.0.1/VaultIndexService/Vaul...

Re: soscmd fails during get
Thanks for your reply I think this problem has been occurring for a while and just hadn't noticed. Except that the problem became much worse recently. That recent change is likely related to an upgrade of firmware on a Sonicwall firewall. When I looked back over the log.txt file, I'd noticed similar...

soscmd fails during get
SourceOffsite 4.2 SourceSafe 6, version of SSAPI.DLL, 6.0.31222.0 Hi We're having problems performing a recursive get on a large project. The get fails at different locations in the recursion and is not consistently failing at the same time. On the client side, the GET fails with the following outpu...
