plugin for vs2013
Hello, I have been using Vault Standard Client 5.0.4 for VS2010 and decided to upgrade to VS2013. When I go to tools->options->source control, the enhanced vault client is not there. I tried reinstalling Vault Standard Client 5.0.4 after installing VS2013 but this did not solve the problem. Should I...

Re: Vault server cannot access DB after restoring backup
Thank you for the link. After following the instructions I was able to access the Shadow Folders page and add them. However, they are not getting populated. The folders were already created and had some stuff in them before we added them to the shadow folders list... does that matter? Also we have &...

Re: Vault server cannot access DB after restoring backup
Reinstalling the vault server worked, thanks! There is now an issue with the shadow folders service though... They are not being generated on the server, and when trying to access the shadow folders menu in the web admin client for the repository, this error is displayed: The Shadow Folder Service h...

Vault server cannot access DB after restoring backup
Hello, There was a hard drive on our vault server machine, and luckily we had a backup of the database. So we installed the same version of vault server on a new machine, then after loading the database backup, this message is displayed on the vault admin web client at the login screen: Login Failed...

Vault shadow service problem
After checking in a file, the changes were not reflected in the shadow folder. So I went into the admin web client to check the shadow folder settings and this error message was displayed - "The server could not reach the Shadow Folder Service.". After waiting 15 minutes or so, I was able ...

Re: Cannot check in files
In the vault client, when I right click on the affected files, check in and undo checkout are grayed out. When I try to check out the files from the vault client, it says I already have these files checked out and it won't let me check them out. From the visual studio enhanced client, the checkout o...

Re: Cannot check in files
Yes, I chose undo for all of the relevant change sets, but it did not solve the problem.

Cannot check in files
After having a couple of files checked out non-exclusively with a team member, I tried to perform an undo checkout on my two files (the same ones that she was working). While having the files checked out I changed their names and added a couple of other files to the project. I ended up deciding to p...

Re: Shadowed folders not updated
Is there any way to update the shadow folders manually? I noticed that a subfolder was missing in the shadowed folder well after mapping it. After deleting the shadow folder and starting again, it seemed to populate all of the folders correctly. It would be nice to be able to update the shadowed fol...

Re: Shadowed folders not updated
So when I created new shadowed folders they seemed to update correctly. I guess there is a problem mapping shadowed folders that have preexisting files?

Shadowed folders not updated
Hi, How often are shadowed folders updated? Is there a way to manually synchronize them with the repository? I'm asking because I checked in a change to a file in the repository which belongs to a shadowed folder, and after checking to see if this change was reflected in the shadowed folder after 45...

Re: Visual C++ 6 integration duplicate status messages
No, not that I know of. The file can be checked in with the new changes and and its version number correctly gets incremented. Both client and server machines are running win xp pro.
