Was this ever resolved?

We frequently have Visual Studio just disappear when doing get latest in VS 2005. I have Vault client 4.0.4 (15838). This happens on several people's machines, with several different VS projects, on a regular basis.

How to branch from a label using command line?

How can I create a branch from a label using the command line? The "branch" command line option doesn't have an option to specify a label. (vault.exe 3.0.5.2833) I can do this from the Vault Client UI (view labels, right-click, branch...), so it seems like I should be able to do it from the command ...

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. OK, I guess I can live with that. The information I found in your KB on this topic was only in reference to web projects. If you haven't already (I sure didn't find it) I suggest you post an article in your KB stating that ALL projects in a branched solution need...

Branching best practices with Visual Studio 2003?

My team is just starting to use branching with Visual Studio 2003 projects in Vault. I've read the posts here about having to unbind/bind the solution and web projects so the files will be checked out from the branch and not the trunk. (See http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=1917 and http...

Actually, I see that the dialog with the Overwrite option is part of Visual Studio (confirmed via the Help topic). Funny, I never saw this in VSS, but maybe I never used this structure with many solution sln's in one folder.

Thanks

That is really annoying. I don't understand why this isn't a Vault issue. I would have to test, but I thought this structure works in VSS. Do you happen to know? Obviously, if the solutions are not under source code control, this structure works fine. Are you saying that Visual Studio's SCC integrat...

Open from source control deletes existing solutions

I'm having a problem where Vault deletes existing solution files (*.sln) when I open another solution from my Vault repository. I think this is caused by my folder structure. Can you please confirm? To see further details... I posted to the regular forum before I realized I should use the Gold forum...
