Hi Beth, Thanks for the reply. We've actually bought 13 licenses to Fortress but haven't upgraded because we don't have confidence in the product yet so we're sticking with Vault 3.5.2 and Dragnet 1.07 for now. I do have the latest version of Dragnet and have been getting a TON of errors were I'm se...

Dragnet Still Supported?
Is Dragnet, as a separate product, still being updated by Sourcegear or to get the most current version do we need to upgrade to Fortress?

AddItemExternal Web Service Method
In the past certain fields such as priority were ignored in the Dragnet AddItemExternal Web Service call. Is that still the case with the Fortress Web Service?

Linda, I finally have it working after removing previously defined setting, applying to all respositories, re-adding setting, applying to all repositories, then applying to all other repositories and restarting computer (may not have had to restart computer but I was getting frustrated). I don't lik...

Clearing the cache seems to have helped a good bit but I have two new issues: 1 - When starting VS.Net 2005 it seems the setting for automatically connect to server using the specified profile is ignored. Each time I start VS.Net 2005 I'm prompted to log into the server even though I have that optio...

Fortress Error
I have been evaulating Fortress before deploying it live and I'm glad I did instead of just cutting over. I have had a fairly difficult time with Fortress it seems :(. Some background in case it matters: The evaulation machine is my old development machine running Windows 2003 server standard, VS 20...

Not the Same
Hi Beth,
The external submissions page is not the same as submitting items using the webservice. We're using code very similar to that shown in the Dragnet knowledge base article "Examples for AddItemExternal() Web Service API" found http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=2568

Follow Up Question
Beth, Thanks for the reply I appreciate your feedback. Follow up and very important question for us. Does Fortress support external submissions through a web service like Dragnet did? If so is there a sample I can look at to see the difference or would it help if I posted sample code that we use now?

Upgrading Questions
Greetings, I'm getting ready to upgrade from Vault/Dragnet to Fortress but have some questions first. 1 - We currently host Vault/Dragnet databases on SQL Server 2000 machine and I want to move that to SQL Server 2005 machine and then do the fortress upgrade. Is the process as simple as (1) uninstal...
