Looking for a viable move folder between repositories soluti
I'm trying to find a workable solution for moving folders from one repository to another repository. I've got some client projects in my master repository that need to be moved into a separate client repository for various reasons. Early on in the game, when we ported our VSS DB, we ended up with ev...

Re: Status of the FogBugz cvsSumbit.asp POST
OK. I just retested a couple of calls using a different web address altogether (I was testing using just a local machine name, I tried using a "real" web address in case there was some sort of requirement for dots and the like in the name, but no joy. Can I reiterate the feature request fo...

Re: Status of the FogBugz cvsSumbit.asp POST
I'm testing with just single file edits - no adds of either files of folders (just wanted a nice, simple test case until it work a little bit)

Re: Status of the FogBugz cvsSumbit.asp POST
OK, I turned logging on in the main Vault client, checked out a file, small edit, checked it back in with a Bug tracking bit of text. My logging was fogbugz only, with stack trace turned on for added fun There's a single reference to fogbugz in the file (full file attached): 25/06/2010 8:41:16 AM <f...

Re: Status of the FogBugz cvsSumbit.asp POST
Is this also valid for the VS2010 Vault plugin (which is what we tend to use the majority of the time instead of the actual Vault client)?
I'll enable logging and post some info

Re: Status of the FogBugz cvsSumbit.asp POST
We've got a sniffer at both ends (WireShark sniffer on the client and the server), and we aren't seeing a single packet directed at the configured psuedo-FogBugz web address. We've tested both the actual Vault client and the dialog from the Visual Studio plugin. Nada. Zip. Nuffink. Any further thoug...

Re: Status of the FogBugz cvsSumbit.asp POST
The Vault server has the FogBugz link set (it's set to http://CAOIMHE/VaultToJira currently - I'm not sure if it will accept a sub directory or not though). The FogBugz Trial ID has been set to a random number in case that was needed (although I tried it without the random number as well). The bug t...

Re: Status of the FogBugz cvsSumbit.asp POST
Was that question to me?
If so, I don't have FogBugz installed at all - I'm trying to trick Vault into thinking I do though, so I can intercept the checkin message and perform other actions against my JIRA system

Re: Status of the FogBugz cvsSumbit.asp POST
I'm not getting any sort of GET/POST message from the Vault client at all - using Fiddler, nothing is ever sent to anywhere. So I'm not sure if the request is even getting made anymore. I'm running Vault 5.0.2, and I've got the fogbugz link set as http://CAOIMHE/VaultToJira/ I've also dropped a rand...

Status of the FogBugz cvsSumbit.asp POST
Just wondering whether the FogBugz cvsSubmit.asp POST is still being called in Vault 5.0.x? If it is, is it called from the client, or from the server after the commit has completed? I've mocked a cvsSubmit.aps page to try and get the commit messages with the bug ID so I can push all this through to...

Re: Problem - You have more active users than valid licenses...
4.1.3.xxx (all the tech details are in in the first post of this thread - http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12135 ) I managed to sort it by editing the SCC (this was manifesting itself in VB6), and the issue appeared to be that we have changed Vault Servers as well recently (and ...

Problem - You have more active users than valid licenses...
We've started getting this error in the last couple of days: "You have more active users than valid licenses. User accounts are disabled until the "admin" user deactivates some users." We added a new license probably around the time this started happening a couple of days ago (so...

Re: Implicit Checkout and file saving REALLY slow.
That seems to have improved the speed (but I've only checked out one file so far in testing, having checked all my changes back in).
I only had 200 odd files checked out (there seemed to be about 947 files checked out by all users from the repository)
Thanks for that
Matt

Re: Implicit Checkout and file saving REALLY slow.
Ahhh, so it scans my ENTIRE checkout list?
Yeah, I've got heaps of checkouts out at the moment - I'll push a few of them back up and see if that improves my life a little.

Re: Implicit Checkout and file saving REALLY slow.
I rolled my Vault client back from 4.1.4 to 4.1.3 so it matches the server version, but this hasn't fixed my dramas.
