How to migrate individual projects to a new Vault server
I'm currently running a Vault Standard Server at version 6.1. I'd like to setup a new server for Vault 7.0. I see the procedure for upgrading the entire server (and I've done it before when upgrading from Vault 5.x) but I need to keep some of the projects in the older version of Vault due to minimum...

Re: VS2003 Integration not working after upgrading Vault
I agree. This is the workaround I was hoping for. But I couldn't figure out how to unbind my project.
Your advice to modify the VS2003 config is what allowed me to unbind the project. That allowed me to get back to work.
Thanks again for your help.

Re: VS2003 Integration not working after upgrading Vault
Thanks. The project is VB.Net/ASP.Net.
After making the config change I was able to open the project as normal but was not able to run it.
I opted to, as you suggested, unbind the project and will use the GUI client to manage source control.

VS2003 Integration not working after upgrading Vault
I recently upgraded my Vault Server from 5.1.2 to 6.0.1. I run a VM with Windows Server 2003 R2 to maintain some .Net 1.1 web apps in VS2003. After upgrading the Vault client within the VM to 6.0.1, VS2003 integration is broken. The Vault client app itself runs fine but if I try to "open a proj...

I don't know what happened but it seems to be working now. This morning, when I opened an existing project in VS2003 it right away asked for my Vault credentials. I was able to unbind the project from VSS and rebind it to the copy I'd previously imported to Vault. I'm not sure why this is suddenly w...

Vault 4.1.1 Classic Client not registered with VS2003
Hi, I'm evaluating Vault as a replacement to VSS2005. I have some .Net 1.1 projects that I have to maintain in VS2003. However, the Vault client does not seem to register with VS2003. It is registered (both "Classic" and "Enhanced" versions) with VS2005 and VS2008. I've already t...

We will provide support for SOS 4.1.2 integration with Visual Studio 2005. During our testing, we found some minor issues, which can be resolved with a workaround, but found no significant problems using VS 2005 with the current version of SOS. We do not plan to support VS 2005 integration with ver...

We should have some news in mid-December. Ok, it's mid-December... I'm about to hire new programmers. I really need to do some strategic planning. Even if SoS isn't ready for VSS 2005 yet, I need to know what your plans are. If you're not comfortable stating your plans publicly, please PM me or ema...

how about an update on the status of your testing?
Source Off Site is an awesome product.
I'd like to know what your plans are for support under VSS 2005.
We need to make some strategic decisions.
An update on your testing progress would be appreciated.
