Re: Windows Event Log - Merging Branches
The Merge operation would not allow me to select next, and just waited for me to select a range of merges but none were showing (I waited from the time of the previous post till just now). I had to cancel and restart the merge operation, which seems to be working now as expected. This is the first t...

Windows Event Log - Merging Branches
I am trying to merge a temporary patch branch back into the main trunk. But the Merge Branch Wizard is taking a very long time for this operation considering how many files have changed. I am not noticed any major cpu or memory changes to signal anything is being done on the server or the client mac...

Just to describe what I was trying to accomplish. In one of my projects I was trying to describe the new database fields which I will be adding, fieldname, type, small description. So being a good little html programer I decided to use a simple table, no styles. So I checked "Use HTML" check...

Enhancement request. - Tray Hover text
I have a habit of running multiple stand alone fortress clients, almost always logged into different repositories. I do this to save me time logging in and out as I switch between tasks during the day. When they are minimized into the tray area I have no way to determining which is which without res...

Re: Createing a Label In the Past
I figured it out how to do it.
I had to show history, and view folder history by version. I was viewing folder history by item before.

Createing a Label In the Past
Is is possible to create a Label on a folder and its contents after commits have been done to it? What I am trying to do is create a branch, starting from a specific point last year. But didn't know at the time it would be a important enough change where I would want to put a label on it. I am prett...

Checkin Comment Search
Background: Imported from Source Safe a few years ago, and have been using dragnet/vault --> Fortress since then. But now its time I have to hunt for some items predating dragnet/fortress via checkin comments. And for the life of me I can't figure out how to search on the file checkin comments to sa...

I am using the Gui Client. I know I don't need to take notes this way. But since I am usually putting in a description for a block of code and what its purpose is, it doesn't hurt me to put in the Issue Id, in there as well. So it is a habit now, to include the Issue Id in with the comment blocks, t...

Feature Request - Item Tracking ID
Is it possible to include the Item Tracking ID in a way that can be copied out easily, when in the edit view for the Item? I know it is displayed in the tab title, but at least in my current setup my Names for each Tracking Group is too long, and causes the Tracking ID not to be displayed. I have go...

Feature Request - Import Email into Issue Ticket
I am not sure how others receive items bug reports. But 90% of mine come in via email either from clients or employees sending me what they think is a bug or problem, or a change/update feature request. I am looking for an easier less time consuming way to import from outlook email into Fortress iss...
