Bug in 3.1.9, Undo Checkout silently fails

I found a document checked out by another user. I need to undo the checkout. I login as an Admin user. I right-click the document, which is listed as being checked out to the other user. I choose Undo Checkout. It closes, apparently succeeding. I refresh the view, and the document is still checked o...

Dragnet support redirects to this forum

I just rechecked -- I clicked through the links from SourceGear dragnet, and it leads me to this forum. I just posted the milestones out-of-order bug here for dragnet, before realizing that the forum is actually the SourceOffsite forum. But, I double-checked, and as far as I can tell, it isn't my fa...

milestones in random order

The milestones seem to be listed in random order; obviously this gets more annoying as you get more miletones.

#1) I'm talking about the standalone Vault GUI client. #2) I just checked, and this happens if I click on a directory in the left-hand tree, then alt-tab away and then alt-tab back (so focus should be in the left-hand tree). It also happens if I click on an item in the directory -- that is, in the r...

Trying to provide requested info

Oops, I missed this. Let me try to explain it. re: walking about right-click context menu No, well, yes, the right-click response is painfully slow (but not consistently -- just sometimes), but, the even larger problem is painting at all. For example, if I alt-tab to the Vault IDE client right now (...

But, it depends what files I want to compare, what is the best way to diff them, so I optimally would like a way to pick which diff tool to use -- and of course it would be most convenient if the choice commandlines could be preloaded.

Show diff in external program

The built-in diff window is ok for simple files, but sometimes I'm diffing more complicated files and need a more powerful tool -- from the history explorer I'd like a right-click Diff With ... Or, better (because it it looks like that right-click diff pulls down the files again every time), from th...

How to tell whence check-in was made?

Looking in history, it is not apparent to me to what machine checkouts were made, and from what machine checkins were made.

How can I tell if a given project has ever (or recently) been checked in from a particular client?

The freezing up on every alt-tab is getting to me

This alt-tab bug is very annoying all the time that I use Vault. I'm thinking of trying to bring up another source control solution, because I don't like spending so much time waiting for Vault to repaint, or waiting for it to paint the right-click handler... It probably feels a much worse impedimen...

My small datapoint is unchanged: I've done some simple checkouts, modifications, and checkins, using Vault IDE client on 2003 x64, and the only bug I've seen is that sometimes the Vault IDE hangs (or at least, it gets much slower than it usually is, so slow that I cannot distinguish it from a hang)....

Is it safe to be struggling by on 64-bit systems using Vault

The smarter question that I should be asking, probably, is:

Is it safe for me to run the Vault GUI on Windows 2003 x64, and just kill it and restart it when it crashes, as a workaround until Vault supports 64-bit operating systems?

Do you have any support for 64-bit customers?

Do you have any supported or recommended solutions for customers who have 64-bit operating systems, and have some code in Vault?

(I'm just now busy killing the Vault IDE again, because it hung again.)

No, I didn't mean for the user to get the latest version of Vault from Vault -- um, probably only people at SourceGear can do that. I meant what the enduser can do -- for the user to get the latest version of the user's web pages tar/gzip up the latest version of his pages, and ftp that to the serve...

I chose obvious example to help clarify the bug

Ya, it definitely doesn't conform to the standard, so it is quite confusing when the names are more similar -- I chose a really obvious example, where it isn't as bad effect, to help make it clear what the bug is.
