v10 Visual Studio 2015 Client?

I see the VS2017 client on the v10 download page. And the Release Notes reference this: "Vault Visual Studio Enhanced Client for Visual Studio 2005 through Visual Studio 2015" But I don't see that on the download page. Can someone please point me to the correct place to acquire that? Thank...

Success!

A full uninstall of 3.1.7 and 3.5.1 and a reinstall of 3.5.1 worked and I can now check in and add files. Thanks for the assistance!

Uninstall

As I mentioned (I think) in my original post, when attempting to install 3.5.1 it wanted to uninstall 3.1.7 and could not because I don't have the 3.1.7 msi file. Also, you asked me to uninstall and reinstall, which I could not do for the 3.1.7 version (which still shows up in Add/Remove Programs as...

Patch

Sorry, I have installed a number of Microsoft patches fed to me by their automatic updates feature since I last used Vault, so I really have no idea which patch may have caused it. I don't even know which patches have been installed. As I mentioned, I cannot uninstall the 3.1.7 version because I do ...

Client Error

I posted the client error as the subject, but it wouldn't fit. I forgot to post entire message. Sorry! Here is the entire client-side message set when trying to check in a file that shows checked out in client: [4/18/2007 8:12:52 AM] Preparing data to begin transaction [4/18/2007 8:12:52 AM] Beginni...

The server had an error processing the file upload . . .

WindowsXP SP2+, SQL Server Dev Edition 2000, Build 2600: Service Pack 2. Sorry to trouble you, but my Vault system was working and then stopped accepting checkins/adds. I am pretty sure it must be some MS or other patch that was recently installed that is causing the problem, as I have not (to my re...

Well, the files are moved and repointed and VaultClient is MUCH more responsive. However, I strongly encourage you to use FileMon and watch what happens when you bring VaultClient to the foreground - NO other action other than that and it reads in information about every file in the currently select...

Suprised you haven't tested for that given the increasing numbers of disconnected workers these days. :( In any case, is there an easy way to repoint everything to a new copy of the same files? I can copy the files to a new, local, directory tree very easily obviously. But do I have to reimport or g...

1) I was using 3.1.6.xxx. I downloaded and installed the very latest flavor just last night and get the same reads of the offline files. 3.1.7.3719 is the specific version number 2) I get the same action with no files modified. I currently have 5 files that have 'edit' by them. 3) I am speaking of r...

Windows Offline Files

I had been having difficulty with VaultClient on WindowsXP. Simply bringing app to foreground would result in a hang for 15-20 secs, with 100% cpu usage. I have traced the problem to INTENSE file reads (and a few writes) to the j:\csc\... directory chain, which is the location of my Offline Files ca...
