Temporarily work on a different version
I need to go back to an older version of a few libraries, make a couple changes, rebuild the libs, then go back to where I was. Would the best way (without branching) be to Pin to a folder then get latest or would I just want to use "Get Tree" when viewing the history?

How can I tell if a folder is branched?
Hello,
I just branched a folder but the new folder looks just like any other blue folder. How can I tell if a folder in the list is a branch?

It's in an endless loop trying to get latest version.. "An exception was encountered during the get latest operation. Exception: Server was unable to process request. ---> Object reference not set to an instance of an object." The users get the latest to an encrypted folder. I sometimes mo...

Detect New Files (AND FOLDERS)?
Hello, I like using the Detect New Files feature - makes it easy to remember when I change 5 or 10 things across different libs that are all related. The problem is there is no Detect New Files and Folders option which would be handy. When I add a new folder and forget about it it's a pain to add si...

All files in Pending Change Set after Daylight Savings Time
All my working files are on a FAT32 encrypted container partition and now it's saying all my files have been modified. Seems like a waste to have to update everything.

Files showing up in client
Hello, I recognized one folder today moving a bunch of stuff to sub dirs. I delete all the stuff from the base dir (execpt 4 files) in the repository then obliterated everything. Repository looks fine on my system but the other guys on win2k3 terminal services still show the files in the main folder...

Slot connecting to server
Hello,
On a Win2K3 machine with VS 2005/terminal services connecting to the repository is slow using the client.
Network access otherwise is not a problem. Once in, it seems to be decent.

Detect Files to Add
When I run this on a directory structure that has all subdirs in the exclude folder list, it still seems to select the parent. In other words. \base \base\win32 \base\win32\debug \base\win32\debugmt \base\win32\release \base\win32\releasemt where debugmt, debug, releasemt, release are excluded folde...

exclude file mask not quite right
When I enter in to the exclude file list: *.mk? It still wants to detect files *.mk (but correctly omits .mk1, .mk2, etc..) I have to enter *.mk for it to not detect those files. doing "dir *.mk?" from a command will bring up .mk as well as anything else like .mk1, .mk2, etc.. Just seems l...
