Re: Diff of label not working
Unfortunately I don't have any other labels to try. I have sent you a log.

Diff of label not working
I want to do a directory diff of all the files on a particular label with the files in a particular path. However, nothing is coming up (and I know there are differences). The label is on the $ level. Here's the steps I'm following: 1. In the Vault GUI, I right-click on $ and choose "Show Label...

Need "Detect New Files" output
There's a nice feature in the GUI called Detect New Files that brings up a dialog showing all files not under source control in the working directory. However, I need the list of these files output as a text file. Is there any way to do this? I assume I could use the API to write something, but thou...

Re: Someone deleted file - restore options?
Thank you so much. Worked great.
You would have been well within your right to tell me to RTFM, so I appreciate the detailed response.

Someone deleted file - restore options?
Someone deleted one file from a repository, killing all history with it. We didn't need the file in the project anymore, but I had wanted to save the history of the item (the code got broken out into smaller files). I have a SQL database backup from before the deletion, but I'm not sure what my opti...

Re: An error occurred when trying to retrieve version.xml
I tried that and that does in fact work. However, it is not an option for our environment. When I reboot, our network policy enforces the correct proxy settings, overwriting my manual configuration. Also, our correct proxy settings use a "WPAD" script which has some advanced logic to avoid...

Re: An error occurred when trying to retrieve version.xml
Yeah, it's not a problem for me that I see the error. I'm only reporting it because it would be nice if the version check worked. Might there be a log file somewhere that provide more details as to the exact nature of the failure? My guess is that it's either just a network error (our firewall block...

An error occurred when trying to retrieve version.xml
I get this error every time I start the VaultPro client: An error occurred when trying to retrieve version.xml file from the SourceGear website I know this is an issue with our proxy server. I can request the version.xml file just fine via browser (got the URL from another forum post), but that's be...

Re: WebDAV not working
It has the following two lines from an attempt:
Code: Select all

Re: WebDAV not working
I tried the "admin" user and got a quick response, but still a login failure: Request URI: http://vault.tresearch.net:80/sgdav/wd.ashx/vault.tresearch.net/TherapeuticResearchNet/SanityCheck Vault Pro server: vault.tresearch.net Vault Pro repository: TherapeuticResearchNet Vault credentials...

Re: WebDAV not working
Vault works fine with Windows authentication turned off for /VaultService. So, I tried turning it off for /SgDav and things have changed, but still appear to not be working... Now, instead of getting the Windows logon, I get the following logon dialog: Capture.JPG Then, the browser spins for a while...

Re: WebDAV not working
If they're from Windows (which I agree with), it's strange that they don't allow access even when providing correct username/password (have tried prefixing username with domain, as well). Accessing vaultweb does not produce any Windows logon dialogs. I checked in IIS and the authentication configura...

It's IIS 6 and, yes, anonymous access is enabled.

Re: WebDAV not working
I get one logon prompt, and then a second with my attempted username filled in (see attached). I have to click OK a couple times and then I get the error message attached (Capture3.jpg).

Re: WebDAV not working
Using the admin account does not get us access either. It does think for a while, but then returns with the logon prompt. The logon prompt also indicates it's trying to logon to our Windows Domain.
