Any ETA on the new version of Vault?

It was mentioned last month that a new version was due out in July. Any ETA as to when the new version will be available?

Suggestion: Open Default Repository automatically

Hi

Forgive if I've missed an option somewhere, but when there is only one repository, shouldn't the vault client just open it automatically?

I'd like to log this as feature request.

I've just lgged onto the local machine and tried the link http://localhost/vaultservice/vaultweb/login.aspx

I can access the login page but no matter what username and password I supply, it doesn't let me log in.

Have you looked at the Araxis Merge/Diff tool? It's very good.

Accessing VaultWeb

Hi

When I try to access VaultWeb (i.e. through the link in the generated change notification email) I'm prompted with a login page, but valid credentials do not authenticate. Do these have to be setup separately?

Feature Request?: Scheduled Email notification of changes

Hi

I would like to be able to email a notification of all changes (by project) to a project manager. Is this possible without having to write my own?

vaultgetfile giving exception...

Thanks for the clarification Ian. I agree with your reasoning with regard to the build server usage, but I would rather it had failed on developer boxes rather than silently overwrite checked out files.

Look forward to the fix in 3.5

Workaround for Vault Nant task <vaultgetfile />

Hi I'm investigating a workaround for the Vault NAnt task <vaultgetfile /> not attempting a merge and overwriting any checked out files. Is there any known way using the Vault NAnt tasks to determine if any files are checked out so that I can abort when run on a developers machine? (Using vault 3.1....

Related to another post: I really would like to see vaultgetfile having more sensible behaviour! It really should attempt a merge. Were these Vault Nant taks written in a hurry, because this does seem to be a glaring omission?
