I did a "get latest version" ( I THINK that's what it was.) and that resolved it.


I'd love an explanation of what happened, if you have any idea.

I never noticed them before b/c they are REALLY grayed out.

Went to: VS>Tools>Options>Source Control>Enviornment options.

There's an option for "independent developer" (i.e., solo programmer) so I selected that.

No, I didn't see any error message (401 or otherwise). I just saw raw xml as I mentioned above, when I clicked "invoke" for Ping.

How do I check the settings you've mentioned?

yes, I get the same error loggin in with the client. Yes, I can get the above web page and see the 'ping' option. When I click"invoke" I get a page of xml: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <int xmlns="http://www.sourcegear.com/schemas/vault">1</int>
