Vista and 3.5.1
I have my own diff for vfp, and it receives the info from vault for the repository file, then processes that info, pulling the file down to a local folder for comparison. A workstation here running Vista gets an error saying it can't find the file that Vault is identifying, and sure enough, the _sgb...

Licenses
We currently have three licenses for Vault and need to bump it up to five. Do we have to buy two more single licenses, or can we pay the difference between three single and five?
Thanks,
Dave

Diff options
Is there a way, in 3.5.1, to make the diff options follow the repository? I have a repository for Foxpro and one for Access, and they obviously have different requirements of the diff tools, but if I make a change in the designation of the diff tool in one, it shows up in the other.
Thanks,
Dave

Upgrade from 3.1.8 to 3.5.1
Do I need to upgrade twice, from 3.1.8 to 3.5.0 then again to 3.5.1?
Thanks,
Dave

I am trying to use the command line client to pull the associated files out of the repository, and not doing well. It insists I haven't given it a repositorypath. I have tried both the GET and GETWILDCARD commands. Can anyone give me an actual working example of a real command line GET and GETWILDCA...

I am using Vault for my vfp repository, and like it very much. Some of the vfp files are text files, and for them, the default diff works fine. I use my diff program for the screens, reports, projects, etc, all of which are actually tables, hence the need for a specialized diff program. To use my pr...

Getting an associated file involved in diff
I am using Vault for vfp, and to do a diff, a two file set is required. That is, Form.scx can't be viewed with form.sct. Is there a way to have Vault make both files available to the diff program. I am trying to use the diff program I have written to do vfp diffs. I'm assuming that writes the file t...

Branch date
Is it possible to branch from a point in history and retain the same date on the files, rather than having them dated as of the branch time and date?
Thanks,
Dave

My client version is 3.1.8 (3771). I don't understand what you mean about having more than one project per working folder. I haven't done that. As a matter of fact, I have tried to remove the working folder association and re-set it. All other folders in the branch show the files in the folder, but ...

Incompatible working folder
I recently branched my application from a couple of months back in history. I have a main folder with 8 subfolders, some of which have their own subfolders. I may have done it in the wrong order, but one of my 1st generation folders doesn't like the working folder. I'm getting an error of "Coul...

Thanks on the label thing. I hadn't yet figured out that there was an overall version number at the folder level. On the status update, I believe I had first done a get latest to the folder, then set the working folder, and had to do a show diff in each folder for the gui to figure out the status. D...
