Hi, I am using Vault v4.1.3 and have "random" problems with my Vault server. Sometimes all is OK, and suddenly this error arise. I had similar problems some time ago, and then it helped to turn off "Enable HTTPP Keep-Alives". I have also turned off all Anti-Virus/firewall program...

Several users have this problem, on both Windows XP and Vista PC's. The file that "fails" may be different each time I try. Today I had this error message: [30.05.2008 11:55:42] Finished get latest of $/Baseline [30.05.2008 11:55:02] Local file update for $/Baseline/Dory/Lib/Nemo/Bin/Relea...

Your tip worked, but it is annoying to copy files to temp-folder before a check-in. Can you add a future feature request for this "Resolve Merge Status" to be included in command-line tool?

SetWorkingFolder

Hi,
I'm using Vault v4.0.6 and would like to use commandline arguments to set a working folder that force all subfolders to use inherited working folder. This is possible using VaultGuiClient and set working folder dialog. How can I do this using vault.exe and commandline arguments?

Regards,
Kim

Thank you - rebooting IIS solved the error report.
My 3 "ghost" folders are still listed in "Folder Security Rights Assignments", but that don't harm anyone. The folders does not exist in either Vault GUI client or deleted items list. Go figure...

Folder Security Error

Exclusive Checkout (two times on same file)

Hi,
We are using exclusive checkout on our databases, but sometimes the Vault server is making mistakes and allow the same user to checkout the same file twice. See attached screendump.

How can I avoid this?

I would like to see a view where I can distinguish rights by group membership and directly assigned rights. The admin overview page only summarize the access rights.

We found one more irregularity: 1) User have access rights to repository 2) Upgrade Vault server from 3.x to 4.x 3) Create new local repository group with admin rights and assign user to this group 4) User is now directly assigned with “access” rights and is also member of group with “full admin” ri...

Obliterate question

Hi, We have a "local" repository administrator (group right: full admin) for each repository. He would like to obliterate a file, but is unable to do so. Message saying he need admin rights. If we are using global admin account, we are able to obliterate the file. Is this a bug or is the s...
