Re: SQL 2014 Upgrade
Here's the route I would recommend . We will also be upgrading from Vault Pro 5.11 on Windows 2003 / SQL 2000 to Vault Pro 7. We will be upgrading to Windows 2008 Server / SQL 2008. It sounds like Vault Pro 7 will not automatically import/update the SQL 2000 databases from Vault Pro 5.11? Does that...

Re: 500 Series errors.
Looks like most of the errors are happening to users josh and elisabeth. ok. What type of browser are they using? Chrome, IE, since these are server side errors, why would browser be a factor? Are other users seeing these as well? I'll ask around. Do you use Link Notation in your work items? Someti...

Thanks. I'm sort of dead in the water until I get a resolution to it.

Re: Fortress and Visual Studio 6.0 C/C++
I don't know if this is relevant, but if I go into Tools, Options and attempt to set Fortress as the default SCC Provider, the box is grayed out, which generally means "partial": http://netlib.com/images/scc_gray.jpg I then go and set it to all, and click Ok: http://netlib.com/images/scc_b...

Re: Fortress and Visual Studio 6.0 C/C++
Unfortunately I still get the same result. This is the new MSSCCPRJ.SCC: SCC = This is a Source Code Control file [SETPASS.DSP] SCC_Aux_Path = http://fortressdemo.sourcegear.com|guest1:1 SCC_Project_Name = $/Drivers/Current I have tried it with and without the "http://". Is there a way for...

Fortress and Visual Studio 6.0 C/C++
I am using Visual Studio 6.0 C/C++ and I am having the devil of the time getting Fortress to integrate into it. (I have no problem with Visual Studio 2005 or 2008, just 6.0). I did set Fortress as the default source control, but I still keep getting errors that it can't connect to the source control...

Can you go ahead and send me a Vault Server Log ? That would go to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) and just add a link to this post. That log will give me a better idea I think of what's going on. OK -- I've asked for the log file to be sent to me. While I'm reviewing that, something could b...

Since all other files check in fine, I am having a hard time undersetanding how the network can be to blame. For the first one, can you try Chunked Encoding? That can be...
