Re: Visual Studio Extension fails to install because of Microsoft.Net.Core.SDK
The way I see it, it's not because there's some lack of permissions, but because there's another version of the product that is already installed, and this version is not an upgrade of it. This is very well known message from Windows Installer, when new installation has the same upgrade code, differ...

Visual Studio Extension fails to install because of Microsoft.Net.Core.SDK
I'm trying to install Visual Studio Extension, and it fails, looks like because "Microsoft.Net.Core.SDK.2.1 failed to install" because "Another version of this product is already installed" . I have installed Microsoft .NET Core SDK 2.1.526 (x64). I attached the log.

Not even automatically. Note that it says that there are no available updates, and everything is up to date.

Re: Visual Studio does not show available update of the extension
Community 2017, v. 15.9.37.
Yes, if I search in Visual Studio Marketplace, it finds the new version. But if I already have it installed, it probably should offer an update?

Visual Studio does not show available update of the extension
In Visual Studio, I have extension version 10.0.3. https://i.postimg.cc/s28SyH1D/p2.png If I understand correctly, the current version is 10.1. But if in Visual Studio I go to "Tools/Extension and Updates/Updates", it says "all your extensions are up to date". https://i.postimg.c...

Re: How to get project files at the given time?
It would be convenient if you "embedded" labeling into the check-in dialog in the Visual Studio extension, something like this:

Feature Request: re-establish session if dropped
As a little feedback on the product... Quite often I have a Visual Studio solution opened for several days, while working on a change. When in the end I try to check it in, I'm getting the error "invalid session token" - probably because ISS server has restarted since I opened the solution...

How to get project files at the given time?
Assuming that I check-in all the files belonging to the project at the time of every release -is there a way to get all project files as they were on the given date? some of them might not have changed ever since, some might have changed 10 times, but I sometimes need the complete source of the old ...

VS2015: Panels have initially wrong size on "Check Out"
In Visual Studio 2015/Vault Standard 10.0.1 (793), when I select a file in solution explorer and select "Check Out for Edit", the top panel is too short to show anything.
If I resize this window (not a panel) just a little bit, the panels are immediately resized and become normal.- Wed Dec 06, 2017 10:12 am
