Download all files on or earlier the date

I know that this feature was requested a few years ago by many people including me. Is it finally implemented? We need a way to download all files from the SG beginning from the selected directory on or before some required date, say, to gather all files belonging to some released build to recompile...

Just wanted to let you know we've been following the discussion. We do have a feature request logged for the ability to rollback a changset and, I'll add a "vote" from Dmitiri. If a rollback isn't quite what you want, let us know. Linda, thanks a lot for your message! Yes, we all in our t...

Dimitri, What it sounds like you're asking for is the ability to checkout an older version of a file, make changes, and then have Vault attempt an automatic merge the same way it would right now if you had checked that version out when it was the tip version. Mike Mike, I don't mean the automatic m...

Dimitri, I'm not sure what you're asking for, but it doesn't sound like rolling back a changeset which is what this thread was originally about. Your quote from Dan doesn't seem to have originated in this thread. BTW I'm pretty sure that Vault has a binary diff (well by CRC) for determining changed...

Roll back a group of file on a required date/time

Sorry, that isn't available yet. It is on our feature list though - thanks for the request. I'd like to request this feature as well. It's extremely important for the development. We're using Vault 2.0.6 (2219) and we have to branch the previous releases to a separate directory. Keeping in mind tha...

.user files shouldn't be in source control because they are different for each user. Dmitri, Microsoft disagrees with you: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/sccvs70/html/vetchWebProjectsSourceControlIntegrationInVisualStudioNET_Convert.asp It was great! Thanks a lot! ...

.user files shouldn't be in source control because they are different for each user. This is not correct because these files are having the compiler configuration for Debug/Release by default as well as all additional modes that I created and we're using like DebugTimeProfiler, etc. However, the ge...

Re: Compare by file content

Maybe one more idea to the previous posting. We're having the "Pin" feature. Can we optionally exclude the files from the Commit list if we applied Pin to these files? Like an additional checkbox - Show "Pin"-ed files.

Compare by file content

I'm sure this topic has already been fired. As many SG users we're having a problem with our *.csproj.user files. Yes, I want these files to be added to the Vault SourceGear (2.0.6 2219), but what I'm wondering is if it's possible to ask Vault to automatically compare the files by their content befo...
