Hi again,
My DBA has confirmed that "we have a nightly job which performs index defags and updating of statistics. The job has been running successfully every evening."
So we'll start with the Windows Server upgrade and go from there. Will let everyone know either way.
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply, Tri. While our environment is slightly different than yours in that we're running against SQL 2005, I did notice when gathering some hardware stats for SG a few minutes ago that we are on Windows 2003 SP1 as opposed to 2. So I will certainly get our Vault server on the upgrade ...

3.5.3 major branching troubles
Hi folks, We'd been using 3.5.1 happily for a little over one and a half years, and decided to make the jump to 3.5.3 a few weeks ago to take advantage of the client improvements we saw in the release notes, of which we have seen the benefit on our build servers. Tonight was our first major branch s...

Hi Linda, Thanks for the reply (sorry our messages missed each other--there wasn't anything on our spam server either). The VSS database imported into a new repository with no problems. However I *was* able to export the imported VSS database from the Vault repository, then import it into CostGuard ...

Hi guys, Using v3.5.1. I just found this post about excluding users in history searches, but I'm after the opposite--I'd like to filter out about 50 other active/inactive users (without explicitly listing them with -excludeusers) and view history from commandline for just ONE user ('build'). Is ther...

Hello, We also encountered this problem with VS2005/Vault v3.5.0/and Get latest, and it went away once we installed v3.5.1. However, we're still encountering the access error when attempting to Add a new file or folder to a project and the VS2005 option for Prompt for automatic [exclusive] checkout ...
