Re: Open Items - Project: page shows items under wrong miles
Update:
This had been caused by a new item somehow being added to an inactive milestone.
Moving it to an active milestone fixed the problem.

Open Items - Project: page shows items under wrong milestone
There seems to be a problem with the 'Open Items - Project: xxxxx' page. We have a project with a number of milestones. A few of these milestones have more items than can fit on a page and so display the left and right arrows. When using the arrows to get to the next page, the list of items is displ...

Can't check in using just the bug description as a comment
Vault Pro 7 We have a repository that is set to 'Require check in comments'. When checking-in a file, I select a Vault Pro Work Item, ensuring that the 'Add comment' box is ticked. Clicking OK on the check-in dialog causes the 'Check in comments are required for this Repository.' dialog box to appea...

Using the browser Back button with Projects At-A-Glance page
Using the Vault Pro 7 web client (in Firefox, Chrome and IE10+). Go to the 'Projects At-A-Glance' page and click on a project heading to get to that project's 'Projects At-A-Glance' page. Use the browser Back button to return to the main 'Projects At-A-Glance' page. Now click on a different project ...

"My Open" / "My Unresolved" fault with Vault Pro 7
We have just upgraded to Vault Pro 7. We are running this on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, with SQL Server 2005. From the 'Projects At-A-Glance' page, if I expand a project section and then click on a value under either the 'My Open' or 'My Unresolved' columns, I get the following error: Server E...

Re: Install error 2753 upgrading Fortress Server 1.1.2 to 2.0.1
Yes, that worked fine.
In case anyone else is trying this, I had to point the installer to the correct SQL Server and then tell it to use the existing database. After that, everything worked OK.
Thanks,
Simon

Thanks Linda. I'll try that in the morning, UK time.
If I remove Fortress using the Microsoft Cleanup tool, will it preserve the Fortress database or will I have to restore it from a backup after I have re-installed?

Install error 2753 upgrading Fortress Server 1.1.2 to 2.0.1
We have been trying to upgrade Fortress Server 1.1.2 to 2.0.1 without any success. Previous upgrades have always worked perfectly, first time! Soon after launching the msi file, a dialog box appears with the message "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. Thi...

Brett, from reading this thread that you started recently, it looks as though you have got around the problem mentioned here. How did you fix it?

Renaming a folder in Fortress breaks Change Set Comment link
I renamed a folder within Fortress, after having previously checked in some files using the "Update Bugs-Add Checkin Comment as Item Comment" dialog from within Studio. When viewing the bug item in a web browser, the repository path for the Change Set still points to the old repository pat...
