If we uncheck "use chunked encoding" under the Tools/Options it seems to work.

I changed the domain name from just "COMPANY" to "COMPANY.LOCAL" and it works.

Unfortunately it is indeed spelled correctly. It's finding the correct comain controller from what I can tell. This is very odd.

Actually I read the log again and I still have that server error, so it's not able to authenticate for some reason.

I can't think of anything else it can be.

Is there anything I can do with the log to get more tracing going?

Hello, I'm about to create a new Vault server on a new machine, with the latest 3.0.x version. This will be a new purchase. I've got one project currenlty running on an older 2.0.x version of Vault. There is an existing repository of about 60 meg, with 4-5 users. Not too big of a deal, but it's code...

As an FYI--this seems to work already. I'm able to create a new solution in VS.NET 2005, add it to Vault, check-out/check-in, etc.

Am I missing something here?

I just installed the trial on a server and I'm having the same issue--no emails being generated. I also don't see anything in the log.

Should I assume that the software works (it seems logical) and that it's my SMTP configuration?

Will Vault support the new protocols for Visual Studio 2005 when it is released later this year? I know that Microsoft is releasing Team System along with it, but hopefully it will still work with the old SCCAPI. Any ideas?

Does Sourcegear (or anyone else for that matter) offer a hosted Vault solution anywhere on the Net? I'm thinking it would be nice to pay a certain fee every month to have a Vault installation for small, independent teams or single developers.

I change the timezone manually. My Local Files flag is set to "Attempt Automatic Merge".

The project file's status was set to "Old" I believe. Next time I see it I'll send you some screen shots of it if that helps.
