Feature Request - Line History

Please add line numbers to the View Line History selection window. It will make the selection process much easier.

Feature Request - External Add

We have just started using the External Add feature and the reporter is always "external-user". If the bug-fixer has questions, he doesn't know who to ask. If the external user remembers to do so, the contact info could be put in the details box, but if a Contact Box was added to the submi...

Re: Save Query not working

Javascript was enabled. But I checked all options within the Advanced button. Still no popup. Restarted Firefox a couple of times. Still no change Used IE to rename a saved query to see if the rename would transfer over to Firefox. Started up Firefox and the rename appeared, though I think I may had...

Save Query not working

When I click on the Save Query button, I do not get a popup allowing me to enter a name. This is with Firefox 3.5. if I use IE6, I get the popup. NoScript is set to allow sourcegear.com and regaldecision.local (where Fortress is located). Also made sure Firefox allowed popups for regaldecision.local...

Re: Searchable help

Please do. Probably half the time I use any help, I know what phrase I want to look for but have no idea which chapter to look in.

Currently using Fortress 1.1. Is there any way to search the Item Tracking online help?

Linda,

Does this mean that if you have a Vault structure of
$
Manual 1
Manual 2

that the working directory of Manual 1 and Manual 2 cannot both be "My Documents"?

Linda,

Would a solution to this be to check all folder files files out and then check them in (Check In unchanged files option set to Check In)?

Would this get the version numbers to be "right"?

If these files are needed to reconstruct labels, then why are they listed in the Obliterate dialog?

Obliteration Question

In reviewing the obliteration lists for the VSS databases that I've imported, there are a significant number of files listed that have a _VSSImport0 or _VSSImport1 appended to them and are repeated up to 20 times.

a) What are these files?
b) Can they be safely obliterated?

Vault Client in error loop

One of our developers is trying to do a Get Latest Version on his laptop. project1.jpg is the folder in question. The screen capture is from my machine not the laptop. Just prior to GetLatest, I wiped the contents of his _sgvault folder, hopefully removing any cache files. When he restarted Vault al...

While identifying the GUIDs would be handy... I would still prefer a way to do the clearing from the GUI Client itself.

According to the Admin tool help screen the default is 768. If optimal is 256-384, then shouldn't the default be in that range?
