The DLL is one of our own but from another project not in the solution so it's like a third party DLL. I don't understand why it gets checked out when compiling. It is not getting edited so there is no reason to auto check it out.

Browsing through items is not a problem in either the fortress client or the web interface it's only the Admin functions for Item tracking projects in the web interface.

I think it sounds like a great feature to have. While you're at it can you put in a request that I mad e long tima go regarding the Resolver of an item. When someone checks some files in and closes a bug with them the Resolver should be automatically set to that user (at least it makes sense to me)....

Yes, it doens't matter if the site is accessed with the IP address or the DNS name. Before the DNS issue was fixed the site would throw an exception. I could only access these admin function when sing the IP address and it was very slow then as it is now.

Why would that be so slow and is this not happening to anyone else? Even when using the IP address for the site it's slow.

Referenced DLLs get checked out when compiling

I have a solution that is bound to Fortress and in this solution there is a web project with some external DLLs (i.e. not DLLs from other projects in the solution) referenced in the web project. When I try to compile the solution Fortress tries to check these DLLs out exclusively but it doesn't appe...

I'm only half blind, I was hoping that there was a way to move a bunch of items. It doesn't appear that the Batch Editing has this same capability.

Moving Items from one tracking project to another

I created a new Item Tracking Project and was wondering if there was a way to move some items from another project to the new one?

Admin/Item Tracking Projects very slow

When accessing this area of the web interface function is very slow. It take 15 to 30 seconds for the request site to respond no matter what function is being executed. It is only in this area of the site though. The source control admin interface performs fine. In the previous version I had reporte...

Looks like the upgrade from Vault/Dragnet to Fortress caused some problems with the account that was having the most problems so we created a new account and it seems to be working ok now.
