Actually I google'ed the error and tried one of the suggestions which was uninstall .Net 3.5 and then reinstall which fixed the problem for me.

I was trying to run Vault from web browser, the Client, and Vault plug-in for Viusual studio 8. But I rebooted my computer and it is working agiain. I have no idea why that worked, but thanks for your response.

Thanks for the response. I used Fport suggested by the Microsoft Knowledge Base page and discovered a program ZPanel was using the port 80. Somehow, it was installed on my system recently. I removed the program and now am able to access the Vault system.

Thank you Thank you Thank you. That fixed my problem. I did have to install the new client, but it works now.
I don't have a 64-bit machine , but it looked like the ASP register command was the same for both.

It is running under INKWORKS2 (local computer) and it already can access the .net 2.0 framework.
